Not long before we will have to look for a new skipper. Too many tactically foolish decisions from MSD on the field and the team selection has just been pathetic. If I was Gambhir, I would skip the CL and pile on the runs during the Eng ODI series.

Dhoni is ok with readymade players but is clueless with how to handle young and upcoming players. He gives zero confidence and encouragement to younger players. Ganguly in contrast backed his younger talents and supported them through thick and thin. Dhoni will be useless as India needs to build a new team and look to the future. Everything about Dhoni is geared to the here and now and dominated by short term thinking.

I agree there have been many tactical blunders ,backing of wrong bowlers (VK) on this tour.Bowlers have not bowled well but still Dhoni didnt help himself by sticking with the same set of bowlers.On the whole a very poor captaincy tour for him .
