speed_demon Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I read reports today, which said, the Plane the Team was returning in from Heathrow had an engine failure, and they had to do a Emergency Landing in Austria. Later they boarded another plane from austria. Reports said, they were pretty lucky, if they would not have been able to Safe Land in Austria, they would have crashed.

The report also said, some members of the Team said, they realized the plane was losing Altitude, but din't understand that it was an emergency landing, until it was announced. The planes can still fly on a Single Engine, and can make a safe landing, but it's still very very scary...

kubrickian Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 You wouldnt believe it but I actually thought a few days ago going by the injuries and bad luck affecting the team, they should be careful on the way back home. This was around the time when a Russian sports team died in a plane crash. Good thing they are safe back home.
