Kerala speedster Sreesanth has been treated unfairly

Rahul it would be interesting to know who your fav Indian players are bcoz seems like you have disdain for more than half the regular players in our squad in recent times.
He likes swashbucklers like Saurabh Tiwary, Yusuf Pathan and Robin Uthappa :D :D :D

Why was Sree not chosen for the ODI series and this despite so many injuries? I had the pleasure of meeting this guy and he is hardworking, takes his cricket seriously. It's nice to see his philosophical and religious side. MS just doesn't like sree. He may be an expensive ODI bowler but he is better than RP, VK a thousand times. He played the test series and was used to the conditions. Look at how many chances Ishant has got despite bowling only one decent spell to Punter in Australia and recently taking apart the crappy WI. Sree needs a run in all formats bar t20 and be given his confidence. When be bowls beautifully, he will get players out on merit unlike Ishant who just bowls consistently in an unthreatening manner.
what are you talking about?

V KUMAR, RP SINGH , SREESANTH have been given so many chances and delivered so little , I think they are not good enough to get a chance even in KENYA'S SIDE, EVEN ZIMBABWE HAS BETTER PACERS THEN THEM.PHEW LOOKS LIKE A DIE HARD SREESANTH FAN , MAYBE SREESANTH IS ON ICF SITE INCOGNITO AS THE THREAD POSER LOLOLO . This coming froma Sreesanth supporter sometime back who has lost hope in his character, fitness or attitude, yer Dhoni is not his big fan but given all the chances he has the SA tour to show or talk about check his figures .That video is good looks like Sreesanth might have tried something naughty lol, anyone outside India seeing too men on bikes think it is gay bigtime.

Sreesanth is a complete disaster in ODIs. Not only does he bowl the length to smash' date=' he lacks what is needed in the format - the ability to remain calm and think on your feet.[/quote'] Yeah, I don't know why a captain would like to him in the odi team.

Ishant Sharma has been nothing but mediocre except showing promise in Australia and recently doing well in WI. The amount of chances this guy has got..he has played so many tests now and had a good run yet he doesn't look like someone who can lead the pack. I don't care if he works hard as Venky said, you need the skill. He needs to go back to domestic cricket for awhile.

Didn't he get many chances in ODIs earlier? He wasted those chances by going for 10 runs an over against Bangladesh and on many other occasions. :dontknow:
He has never had a proper run in test or odi cricket, whether injuries or ms choosin someone else. I honestly think this guy is one of our best bowlers, we can't afford to lose him. Zaheer is getting old and is out for awhile, we need to persevere with some experienced players while trying new ones.

Vinay and RP bowl 70mph filth. When Sree in form no one bowls as beautiful, even G Chappell and Donald have commented on his excellent seam position. Sree in form has a decent bouncer, good pace 140k+, and lovely swing on a good length. VK and RP would struggle to get wickets on a bowling pitch.

he sucks big time in limited overs format even ktk used to prefer vinay and r p ahead of him in ipl
Yep, in T20 he isn't good but I still think he is one of our best current ODI bowlers. With a decent run that economy would go down in ODI and he has always taken wickets. We don't have many other options. Only Zaheer and Nehra are better seamers than him in ODI's currently. Munaf is restrictive but won't win you matches alone.

The "in-form" avatar of Sreesanth appears less often than the proverbial blue moon. It's not about ability - it is about consistent performance.

Sree has no control over: 1. his deliveries 2. his brain He can be a great bowler once he sorts out both these issues, which hopefully happens in our life time.

Sreesanth was one player when he initially made entry in international cricket and before that I believed bowled or sledged Sachin in Domestic game, he was one bowler who looked very promising , he seemed to have the pace , swing , great seam , a bit aggressive. What hurts him is very inconsistent, the way he had bowled in Australia, SA I would even pick him before Zaheer , his weaknesses, no stamina to bowl long spell, or strength to bowl with intensity , his action is not that strong or consistent, tries too many things, gets distracted to easily, doesnt use the left arm much some days at all sprays the ball , Sreesanth at his best which happens only 10 % of times, is bowling in 140's , with intensity, using left arm , cocking his wrist, getting swing , bounce , angle coming in and then ball seaming out, he needs to learn to bowl a good short ball , then bowl fuller swing and seam , at pace, such a waste , time is running out for him if he does'nt work on his fitness and learn what he needs to do , next generation will make him redundant soon , I would only value him as a test bowler at his best def not a t 20 or mostly one day bowler, maybe one dayers on seaming or bouncy tracks , Sreesanth and Munaf

Shame the coaches cannnot help him. Lets face it, we don't have many decent seamers coming through.
