Yoda-esque Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Your brain will tell your typing finger' date=' " Hey mate, even by my august standards, that is unbelievable". :cantstop:[/quote'] His finger is all by himself
GrandMasterSaxy Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I understand your frustration mate, that's how all the losers react, so no worries. Your board buys World cups' date=' If cricket was played fair and square India would struggle to even beat kenya and bermuda.[/quote']
GrandMasterSaxy Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 All the Pakistani bowlers are actually trundlers, they get into the national team by claiming local club level blind sloggers. Their true talent can be seen in the International level where they fail and are unable to win matches, forget about tests and ODIs, even winning a single T20 International is far away from the reach. That's the greatness of Pakistani fans, even after such a pathetic performance by their national side they don't stop blabbering and still keep talking great about their players. QUOTE=panther;2649340]Tanvir is a proven t20 bowler, his rightful format for the real deal we have junaid, gul and irfan.
vishalvirsingh Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Saw Shammi Live in wankhade he was terrific- He will be a super hit in africa
King Tendulkar Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Saw Shammi Live in wankhade he was terrific- He will be a super hit in africa totally
msb1991 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I think Kumar, Shami and Yadav/Khan will be a strong enough attack in South Africa. Big pressure on the batsmen though as Steyn, Philander, Morkel in South Africa is the world's toughest challenge.
vishalvirsingh Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Zak is history as I believe Fast bowling Requires a lot of rhythm strength And youthfull ness....I feel zak is now 130+ bowler...less than 135K He won't be better than bhuvnesh now and seems he won't improve
King Tendulkar Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Zak is history as I believe Fast bowling Requires a lot of rhythm strength And youthfull ness....I feel zak is now 130+ bowler...less than 135K He won't be better than bhuvnesh now and seems he won't improve But he wont replace BK. We need to take 4 seamers at least, maybe 5 in squad. 3 of them locked in as Yadav, BK and Shami So need 2 more. Zak doing well in ranji and left armer. Unless you saying what unadkunt??? Plus other seamer like Ishant and vinnay??? Zak could be very useful for another year in tests
saneindian Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Once again we need to keep our expectations in check. An attack of Bhuvi /Shami / Umesh /Ishwar will have a total experience of some 20 tests! Bowling against a lineup that has 4 players averaging 50+ and playing in their home conditions. Keeping SA down to 350-400 and not letting them bully us like in Eng/Aus would be a good enough step in the right direction.
vishalvirsingh Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Zak was a great bowler 18 mnths b4 But Today Is he bowling 140K Is he Swinging the ball Does he have the Stamina of a bhuvi or Shammi or Yadav I saw shammi at wankhade today and he was possibly bowling 137 to 143k consistently at best line n length And with some dangerous bouncers... I liked his Run Up as he was running of at least a 15 to 18 yards Which was a good enuf run up.....if he is running well, chance is he wud get good Pace ( unless he is legend) I am not sure how godd zak is today but is he doing wonders in Ranji Now

vishalvirsingh Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I believe we shud Take Umesh BK Shammi Dhawal Kulkarni Varun Aroon if fit Else Ishant Sharma just bcos SA wickets r bouncy N ishant"s strength is Bounce. Pragyan and ashwin as bowling AttAck.....

Just have him in squad He is showing form and is clearly slim and trim. We all know has the skills, so even if 90% of what used to be, that is way better then other options
express bowling Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 If Zak is in the squad, he will surely be in the 11 if fit. Then who will sit out ?
Lord Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 If Zak is in the squad' date=' he will surely be in the 11 if fit. Then who will sit out ?[/quote'] Umesh sadly
express bowling Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I did not see all of Shami's deliveries today. The fastest I saw today was 145.4 k. Yesterday's quickest was 146 k. Ist innings quickest was 145.9 k. Average pace always around 139 k / 140 k. So quite quick consistently.
express bowling Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Umesh sadly I feel, an attack consisting of Shami, Umesh and BK would be a better combo of pace, skill and fitness. If Zak were to play, he should replace BK unless the condition is very conducive to seam and swing.
