What impresses me the most about him is his level concentration. I have seen even the greatest of the batsmen like Tendulkar, Lara or Ponting going through periods of low concentration hit/miss sessions during a big innings, but this guy when on song can just stand there for hours after hours without making any mistake. He's an exceptional player albeit not the most exciting.

Otherwise a good batsman but certainly not as high as you rate.

Yeah, when Steyn was under prepared in 1st innings. After that, he couldn't do anything against Steyn. Cook has problems against moving ball. Ishant Sharma dismissed him 6 times in Tests.

He was zaks bunny in 2007 tour when the ball swung in eng.He was lucky zak got injured in 2011 even then he struggled through out the series and had one huge knock .He has techincal problems against moving ball and struggled against good attacks.But one thing he has is great temperament and concentration ,He will get only get better.

He did have a problem against the moving ball but ever since the 2010 Pakistan series he changed his technique considerably and is now one of the best against swing bowling. He used to probe outside offstump alot and bowlers would just keep tempting him outside off but he's solved that now.

Which other daddy hundred are u talking about? Cook has been dismissed by sharma 6 times ,Only 1 hundred he scored in that time. His tehcnique is still suspect as shown by indian tour to eng where in all other innings except the 294 he failed and against sa too after 1st innings he failed.
