Crookbond Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 R u guys beleiving that dhawal is a better pacer than Nachim If so why did sachin prefer to play him ahead of even Munaf dhawal and other pacers along with Lasith Malinga .....its only in ipl5 that dhawal got a chance to bowl....it was always Nachim He was a regular always Another claim without data - Abu Nechim has only played since IPL3. He was an ICL recruit if I'm not wrong. :giggle: In fact, Dhawal Kulkarni has played at least as many matches as Nechim in all seasons of IPL since Nechim is involved with Mumbai Indians. Do the hard work and click the link posted by Lord. Common mate, you get into a discussion with substantiated claims not believed (sometimes false) perceptions.

Crookbond Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Simons has helped me get my rhythm back: Yadav Eric Simons, the former India bowling coach and the current coach of Delhi Daredevils, was helping him with his skills. "Before bowling, Simons always gives me target practice. He keeps a patch and I have to bowl on that. It is really helpful for me and sometimes just before the match, while working with Simons, I check my seam position and bowl at him. All this has benefited me and I have got my rhythm back," added Yadav. http://www.wisdenindia.com/cricket-news/simons-helped-rhythm-back-yadav/31032

PaceAttack Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 I bowl back-of-length deliveries very well,” he said. “When I bowl those, it is difficult for the batsman to play them. If there is bounce, it is difficult for the batsman to bat, because his only options are to play either on back foot or defend it or leave it. So, I try to bowl back of length or from three-quarters of a length, from where the ball swings as well.” Yadav has often been praised for the steep bounce he generates, but did not always back that up with accuracy. “I have also been working on the position of holding my left hand, and have improved,” he said. “Now I don’t have too much difficulty in hitting the right areas and I am happy.” Good. Lets hope he really learn something from Eric.
vishalvirsingh Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 I look forward to see him bowl Today..... I believe that he is Far better than Most Indian Pacers and it does not Make sense to get bowlers like Bala ji PK MUNaf who are History......selectors shud only focus on Varun Umesh ishant Shammi and SrEesanth if he is fit....also consider Dinda as he seems to know the art of taking Wickets. One shud select Keeping in view of future as well.....

The only thing is with his accuracy but he can get you wickets with pace even on docile wickets. I hope they don't waste him.

With his ball, he does not need to do so, just hit good length or just short of good length consistently around 4th-5th stump will do the job for him.

It's like a young Brett Lee, who could get you wickets but give away runs as well. But, I feel he would improve. Also, his action is a lot smoother than some of the others that we have and that's what impresses me.

Not only in favourable conditions, even against WI last year, he was getting the deliveries to jump off good length on those marial wickets. Let's give him time and manage his workload, he can deliver. And he tends to get wickets in heap. Even in Oz, he got 2-3 wickets on the trot in the 1st 2 tests.
MCcricket Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Umesh has natural pace and is fit athletic, what he needs to work on is the mental aspect and slight tweaking on his action approach to get more control and swing, seam.
vishalvirsingh Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Any Idea where Is Sree santh and Varun Aroon..... I kinda Feel Surprised when I compare UVraj with these 2.... UV has comeback frm Cancer and is managing his health well where as these 2 guys are hurt 90 perecnt of time....both these guys are enormously talented but what surprises me is how can they Not manage their BODY Sreesanth wud have possibly been India"s Sperhead by now specially when ZAK is declining.... I feel Sachin shone and Kambli Slept .....hope that does not happen to Varun ARoon as Umesh is improving but probably the more Talented Varun is not Sure whether he will have a cricket CAreer or he will get into some family Business. That only show cases that Talent does not gurantee success at all.....its hardwork which makes or mar a career.

As I said, Umesh's action is far more smoother than Ishant's and that gives him the ability to generate more pace than him always. Sharma on the other hand is more of a rhythm bowler in terms of pace.
