King Tendulkar Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Good stuff:yay: But there will be tougher challenges ahead. Oijha is the number 1 pick imo
yoda Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 good pitch to make your debut as a spinner. well done!

King Tendulkar Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 6 wickets well done. But dont forget even rubbish bhaji did superb againbst windies in last series against them. Tougher challenges ahead
Sid Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 6 wickets well done. But dont forget even rubbish bhaji did superb againbst windies in last series against them. Tougher challenges ahead Really :hysterical:
Pagalpanti Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Good pitch?? To be honest the pitch has seemed batting friendly, apart from the sammy wicket all were well earned wicket, foxed batsmen with his offspin and carrom ball. But I'm sure teams like SA, Aus, SL will read him better. Anyhow, 9/128 on his debut. :hatsoff:
rkt.india Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 6 wickets well done. But dont forget even rubbish bhaji did superb againbst windies in last series against them. Tougher challenges ahead Bhajji struggled on a more turning track of Sabina Park in WI.
ganeshran Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Ashwin - second best performance by an Indian bowler on debut in tests!! :hatsoff: great performance by Ashwin.. I didnt consider him to be cut out for test cricket but he really performed well in the match.
BERGKAMP Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 its good to have an attacking test spinner once again after watching harbies decline over the past few years.
Sid Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Throughout the test match ,he was flighting the ball and trying to get the wickets.Actually if you see he showed his full variety in this test.Getting wickets with flighted off spinners (Powell),arm ball (Bravo) and carrom ball ( Samuels,Sammy). All in all ,a superb debut :nice:
saneindian Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Would be great to see him bowl on the Wankhede track. May be unplayable there with this bounce.
cowboysfan Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 i dont think he will go the hirwani way, seems like an intelligent bloke with hunger to succeed(plus we dont have other options).
Yoda-esque Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 i dont think he will go the hirwani way' date='seems like an intelligent bloke with hunger to succeed(plus we dont have other options).[/quote'] No chance of going Hirwani's way. Hes mentally tough, very tough.
deathmonger Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 No chance of going Hirwani's way. Hes mentally tough, very tough. off spin version of kumble :hatsoff:
Number Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 No chance of going Hirwani's way. Hes mentally tough, very tough. We've seen it for CSK , in ODIs and then today he always stood up when they needed him. Excellent performer so far .. :hatsoff:
vvvslaxman Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Curtains for Harby ??? for a while. yes Dhoni has connection with Bhajji. But Ashwin has been his "go to" bowler for a while.
