I saw in hyderabad ( deccan ) when pakistan beats India people start celebrating our defeat . yes there is a section of muslims in india that celebrate pakistan's win. even i have seen such illegal migrants from bangladesh support pakistan's win. TYhis made my blood boil. BUT just because some muslims do such things we cannot condemn the entire muslim community. and the only muslims i have seen doing this are the poor/ lower middle class ppl. others all support india. this is due to a lack of education and knowledge. at the end of the day it's just cricket, as long as they don't pick up arms and start an insurgency i am okay with it (although i feel some disappointment) . Using same logic Indians in England support India, even 2nd and 3rd gen ones. It's more to do with the fact that they consider Pakistan their own. Muslims are a part of India and have to be integrated into society but we have to choose a middle path between the Congress's vote bank policy and the BJP's off with their hands policy. I am not some Digvijay Singh. I advocate the hanging of Afzal Guru and Kasab. I believe that mullahs who incite Anti-India feelings should be arrested. Muslim ppl who burn India flags should be arrested. But in dealing with the bad ones we cannot alienate the good ones. Remember, black birds exist. That doesn't mean all birds are black. You are making a logical quandary. At the end of the day we are Indians. Religion never works. Ask Pakistan.

Media, Arts, Cricket, Bollywood etc are the binding factors of national integration in india, otherwise there would have been alot more animosity. If India can maintain the ratio of Hindu, muslim population to what is currently there shouldn't be too much to worry abt islam in india imo. 2.6 is the avg. no. of children per female delivered in india. Would be interesting to see the growth rate of hindus n muslims separately. in years to come govrment aims to bring growth rate to below 2.1 per female which it already is in 20 of the 28 states apart from UP(~3.8), Bihar(~3.8), rajasthan(~3.4) etc

You & Others can differ.. you can't see who it is. if he is wearing pakistan he is representing pakistan, so he may be a hindu so it's not an insult to muslims. if you have good eyes and can see who it is, you also see the blue god is sachin so even if the bowing man is muslim he's not worshipping a hindu god as you can see it's sachin.

I have met tons of Indian Muslims here in Canada n yet to meet a single Indian Muslim who doesn't hate Pakistan, forget about supporting them. And hypothetically, let's say if an Indian Muslim supports a Pakistani cricketer, what's wrong in it. Why is it ok that me as a Hindu own a Pakistani jersey n sometimes wears it while playing cricket but if an Indian Muslim does the same, he wud be called a traitor.
