Amazing stuff. I went out for a bit after Australia got bowled out in 1st innings and when I came back SA were playing their 2nd innings. It took me a while to register what had happened.:blink:

This is turning out to be a great test match alright, but would not there be an ICC probe on this pitch? For heaven's sake, 2 teams have been all out within 2.5 sessions!!! Was the Galle pitch this bad?

This track is really well suited for test match cricket..... tbh, it wasn't bad batting apart from what haddin did today, but for the most part it was some amazing seam bowling from both sides. This was some hardcore test cricket. As long as the bounce is true and consistent, the pitch can not be blamed.... the problem with some of the sub-continental pitches stems from the grubbers and shooters that start happening from the 2nd day onwards. That is what becomes dangerous for the batters and keepers etc.

Lets be fair here. The pitch didn't have Kotla/Jamaica like daemons. Modern day batsmen lack the apetite.
