Cricket Tragic Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Dhawan Sehwag Gambhir Kohli Mithun Manhas Chhabra Unmukt Chand Rajat Bhatia Sangwan Nanda Parwinder Awana
Dravid_TheWall Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Wonder who that might be :hmmm: If you are referring to Sree, if he is fit, he should be in the mix. Of that there is no doubt.

Dravid_TheWall Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Openers- Sehwag, Gambhir, Rahane Middle order- Dravid, Sachin, VVS, Rohit, Kohli Keepers- MSD, Parthiv Pacers- Zak (if unfit then RPS), PK, Ishant, Umesh, Varun Spinners- Ashwin and Ojha Reserve pacers- Pankaj Singh, Mithun/Gony Parthiv Patel, do you know how costly a test drop can be :giggle: RPS if Zak is injured, why because he bowls with left hand too :hysterical:
vvvslaxman Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 i would pick saha as we need to groom a keeper after dhoni if saha is the best choice available then we have other no options to pick him last time 16 members were picked for aus tour Saha i don't think is a good bet. He has lot of limitations as a batsman and keeper. I sincerely hope Dinesh karthik finds his touch back. He can bat anywhere . He can keep. He can field very well which is a big plus. His only problem is consistency.
saneindian Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Parthiv Patel' date=' do you know how costly a test drop can be :giggle: RPS if Zak is injured, why because he bowls with left hand too :hysterical:[/quote'] No Sree, sorry to disappoint you but your career is as good as ever. RPS has at least been picking wickets in domestic matches unlike you doing some dance show on the pretext of a career threatening toe injury. As for Parthiv, he has the experience of playing in Australia, plays the short ball quite well.. Plus he is plundering runs in domestic cricket. Would be a good reserve keeper.
saneindian Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Saha i don't think is a good bet. He has lot of limitations as a batsman and keeper. I sincerely hope Dinesh karthik finds his touch back. Looks to be very low in confidence.

phaedrus Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Openers: Sehwag Gambhir Rahane Middle order: Dravid Sachin Laxman Kohli Rohit Wicket keepers: Dhoni Saha Fast bowlers: Zaheer Ishant Yadav Praveen Aaron Spinners: Ashwin Ohja +1 If pujara is fit, he should be fighting for a place with Kohl and Rohit
Pagalpanti Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Rahane should be a definite pick for Aus tour. He loves playing on bouncy pitches. I'd play him ahead of Kohli.
MCcricket Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Sehwag Gambhir Parthiv keeper /opener loves playing horizontal bat strokes Dravid Tendulkar Laxman Rohit Kohli Rahane/Jadeja spinner and batsmen most tracks in oz we will play only one spinner Zaheer Ishant Aaron Umesh Ashwin Ojha/Jadeja Dhoni
punjabi_khota Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 IIRC Kohli top-scored in the emerging player tournament in OZ couple years back.
King Tendulkar Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Openers: Sehwag Gambhir Rahane Middle order: Dravid Sachin Laxman Kohli Rohit Wicket keepers: Dhoni Saha Fast bowlers: Zaheer Ishant Yadav Praveen Aaron Spinners: Ashwin Ohja 100% perfect
vishalvirsingh Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Same team for me...just one change Sreesanth instead of PK for Tests and PK for one days
Mariyam Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Openers - Gambhir, Sehwag and Mukund Middle order batsmen - Dravid, Tendulkar, Laxman, Rohit Sharma, Rahane (with Pujara and Kohli on the standbye) Wks - Dhoni, Karthik Fast bowlers - Zaheer (if fully fit), Ishant, Umesh, Aaron, PK Spinners - Ojha, Ashwin (can't see any other spinner in contention. Would have liked Murali Kartil to be there but don't think he will get a chance) I'll go with this team. Just a few changes: Change PK for Sreesanth Add Rahul Sharma
ViruRulez Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Wonder who that might be :hmmm: vijayakanth :cantstop: Atul Sharma :secret: I vote for Romesh Powar as captain, main spinner and opening batsman for the squad.
Cricket Tragic Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Saha is a better keeper and he appears to be a pretty decent batsman based on what I've seen but Dropthiv can be used as a back-up opener as well. If you pick Dropthiv, you just have to hope that Dhoni doesn't get injured.
Sid Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 I just hope Pappu is not selected as a back up keeper.
