Ganguly was dropped from the side after poor form with the bat for 12-15 months. Sehwag lost his spot due to an indifferent form in 2006, even likes of Kumble and Bhajji were dropped due to indifferent form. Gambhir is now struggling for close to 2 years, should be given a break.
