putrevus Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 He probably would of been. I mean to be fair' date=' he should of been dropped a while ago he has been performing poorly for ages. Hopefully this break does him good and he comes back a better bowler.[/quote'] It is same story everywhere players are now being picked on past performances and once they get that label of match winner they never get dropped hoping beyond hope that he would recreate that magic of past. when it would have been best for both player and team to drop that player and get him recharged. on side note why is Phil Hughes in the team and Katich out, want to hear Aussie fan's view.
Lord Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 He is faking injury so as not to face galiticos. O sorry we can only make such accusations against indians. I apologise. didnt u use this word wen Ind toured Eng?hate it since
Trundler27 Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Feel sorry for Cummins but this is a big stroke of luck for India. I was almost certain that our batters would make this guy the next superstar as we have a tendency to boost rookies to the next level. Finally the injuries 'baton' has shifted to the other side with bravo out in the next odi and aussies dealing with a spate of injuries to a lot of their experienced as well as upcoming players. I think this is a perfect example of the law of averages playing out. I that we make good use of this opportunity and thrash the aussies as our team on paper is way more balanced then australia. Only if our batters would step up. Good luck to both teams but better luck to India ;)
Old guy Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 we will still find a way to lose :P maybe ishant ,zaheer both will get injured lmfao
Lord Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 good for us.with him fit I thought they might play all pace attack, now Lyon will have to play

deathmonger Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 lucky escape for the indian batsmen' date=' pat would have made jeera powder of the galiticos:hysterical:[/quote'] naah galacticos would have trashed him. only team whom aussie bowlers can make jeera powder of are pakistan. four consecutive 3-0 whitewashes. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: ftbs anwar, inzy, moyo,yk dancing around to bowlers like watson :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Magneto Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Are you serious about the four 3-0 whitewashes? I never bothered to check up the stats, but Team Pakistan can't be that bad. FOUR CONSECUTIVE 3-0 WHITEWASHES? :omg:
panther Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 india has good chance of winning test series now ausssie bowling attack too inexperienced
Manny_Pacquiao Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 australia can play whoever they want, none of their bowlers are good enuff to challenge india. Are you serious about the four 3-0 whitewashes? I never bothered to check up the stats, but Team Pakistan can't be that bad. FOUR CONSECUTIVE 3-0 WHITEWASHES? :omg: 12 consecutive test match defeats from 1999-2010. :haha: the best one being this one: http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/current/match/64002.html

This was played at a 'neutral' venue called Sharjah. :giggle:
Naaz-neesh Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 not going to make excuses but the series in sharjah and the last one in australia were littered with so many questionalble decisions from waqar and mohammad yousuf (and some batsmen stroke selection) that one can only point to one reason
Lord Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 not going to make excuses but the series in sharjah and the last one in australia were littered with so many questionalble decisions from waqar and mohammad yousuf (and some batsmen stroke selection) that one can only point to one reason that they're all fixers?we already know it
Magneto Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I never thought Yousuf was a fixer. Not Yousuf, not YK.
carnish Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 certainly not yousuf youhana(i prefer to go by his original name) he was a very good guy a little lazy and lethargic but certainly not someone who would fix... don't know about others in their team... the only other guy i can trust to not fix a game is afridi
carnish Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 About Cummins, its really sad that we won't be able to see him in the border-gavaskar series this time around but its nice in one sense as we don't want to play against too many new comers as the aussies already have starc and pattinson performing good for them and then they have lyon as the next best spinner after warne for them, thereby giving them three rookies and harris being the guy who is the counterpart of zak in injuries.... so its better that he is around and if not then they can always go back to hazelwood or bollinger(if fit)
Lord Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 certainly not yousuf youhana(i prefer to go by his original name) he was a very good guy a little lazy and lethargic but certainly not someone who would fix... don't know about others in their team... the only other guy i can trust to not fix a game is afridi so u think all his close the eye slogs are genuine?
carnish Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 so u think all his close the eye slogs are genuine? Anyone who plays such shots with that kind of consistency has to be genuine....
