StriKe
India Can Now Download YouTube Videos. Why Can't We? In the next few weeks, YouTube users in India will be able to save videos offline and watch them anywhere, any time, without a data connection. The announcement was made at an event in Gurgaon, India, immediately after Google launched its low-cost Android One initiative in the country. Google Kicks Off Android One in India With Three $105 Handsets As a part of its awesome Android One initiative, Google just launched three Android phones running…Read more "YouTube is popular here. You watch some videos again and again. How awesome would it be if you could keep watching them again and again without having to pay for data, and take the videos with you wherever you go?" said YouTube executive Ceasar Sengupta at the event. "Within the coming few weeks, much of YouTube will be available offline in India. This is huge, and our users will really, really like this. You can download a video once, save it to your phone, and watch it again and again." Medianama reports that the offline availability will not just be restricted to music videos, unlike YouTube's subscription-based YouTube Music Key. Users will be able to save almost any video on the streaming service to their Android phones, tablets or computers. There is no word on how advertising will work offline, but Medianama speculates that ads could be synced offline when the device is connected to the internet and played back when users play downloaded videos. There is no word on whether this is coming to other countries, if at all, but as someone who lives in India, I have to say it's nice to get a feature before the U.S. gets it for a change. Go to settings general and then software update ...it will check for it and you just need to press download and install...then it will download and prepare update ..this will take about an hour depending on ur internet ..after that it will ask to install and just click ok or yes..after that phone will reboot and software will start installing this will take 20 minutes or so I think at max Just few things to remember...update only on wifi and keep your phone fully charged or atleast over 70 percent and charging ...also it needs 5 gb of free space only temporarily while installing otherwise update through iTunes

Doesnt seem to change look and feel that much maybe will find more once will use it. no problem ...look will not be changed much this is more about features like third part keyboard, extensions etc .. you will find out these things when apps gets updated and just try using swiftkey if you do not like stock keyboard currently it does not support every language like android but in future it will even get hinglish which many indians type with (mixture of hindi and english ) also swying to type etc...thats what is most useful to me other updates is with icloud and back end and stuff like family sharing but those are things you will slowly notice (also health and nfc payment )
