Holysmoke Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 HTC One Review : Display: Gorgeous in a word. The display seems to be on par with the latest iPhone5 but since the screen on this is bigger, the overall experience on this is better. I guess after a certain point on the technology curve, there are things the naked eye cannot distinguish anyways. The iPhone has a retina display, which is 326 pixels per inch. The htc one has 468 Pixels per inch. Audio: Two front facing speakers and the sound quality on this phone is absolutely amazing and the best I have heard on a phone yet. The sound coming out of this phone is crisp and I did not hear any distortion at higher volumes. The Beats audio imparts a rich bass and the phone is speaker mode itself sounds great. The OS and HTC Sense: Now I do not know where Android ends and HTC Sense begins, but there are a few cool features like the keyboard that offers multiple spelling options and Blinkfeed that allows you to set news options for your homescreen. The overall experience is good since you can embed widgets (Gmail for example) and scroll your mail on your screen without actually opening up the app. There are a few minor annoyances with AT & T pushing some bloatware (4-5 apps) that cannot be deleted from the phone though. I am still exploring the OS and learning the ropes on this one . Android allows you to do a lot of stuff that normally you wouldnt be allowed to do. I'd recommend "Swiftkey keyboard". I prefer it to the regular keyboards phones ship with.
Sachinism Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 HTC has the best stock browser IMO. The only thing I need for my browser to do is fit text to page. HTC stock browser does it the easiest. Opera, Dolphin are capable of doing it also, but easier on HTC stock
Old guy Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 use Dolphin Browser. nono ... stock htc browser kills dolphin
Old guy Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 HTC butterfly S. +1 there is one more htc one version in india with dual sim..i think it supports micro sd..though im not sure
Sachin=GOD Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 nono ... stock htc browser kills dolphin haven't used it so can't comment of that.
Old guy Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 haven't used it so can't comment of that. even cyanogenmod browser is much better than dolphin and chrome beta is getting better and better and is actually as smooth as stock browser but it uses too much battery on my phone

Macj Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 The fact that Apple has metastasized into it's enemy Android, shows the battle is already won. More people will want the real deal rather than Apple's dumbed down version.
