India was, is and always will be the hardest place to tour for any opposition team. I reckon most teams already believe in their minds that they have no chance to win before they even arrive.

Yep... since 2005 beginning all we have lost are 3 ODI series in India.... 2 against Aus and once against Pak... all by the same margin...4-2 The only other series loss in this 7-year period and the one that will hurt the most is the recent T20 series defeat against England this year... :wall: [vinay pathak mode] But truly India in India is mind-blasting [/vinay pathak mode]

It doesn’t really matter what side we play for our home ODIs to be honest. We could play a team consisting of just the wives/gfs of our cricketers and still win, that’s how good we have become at home in ODIs. Visiting teams are finding out that our batting is simply too strong to overcome over a stretch of 5-7 games. The best part is, the youngsters are taking turns to be the match-winners with the bat. The best part is, even as guys like Manoj Tiwary grabbed his chance and scored a 100, there’s an army of destructive batsmen like Yusuf, Saurabh Tiwary, Uthappa waiting in the wings.

India is the best team playing at home almost unbeatable at home in ODI'S, TEST'S ALSO,we can try out some good seam bowlers who can bowl at death, Nechim looks like a good candidate, slingy, pace is there, can bowl yorkers, swings it also, also have Pathan option now.We have the team to win anywhere, provided the fitness and selections are good.

8 years team India was undefeated at home. If you look from 2000, we lost only to SA and Australia, 2 very strong teams at that point. :(( It actually gives some perspective to those wins, most of us write them off as home victories or victories due to flat pitches. The current lot is struggling to even compete in the pitches tailor made for India.
