Bane is an awesome villain, yes. Perhaps 2nd only to the Joker. He 'broke the bat' after all. There was a huge Batman storyline in the 90's when Bane effectively batteredB atman, breaking his back too. An of course Catwoman 's got the whole love/hate thing going on. Hope Hathaway does a good job, I thought shed be too 'nice' for a villain(ish) role.

I wish this was not the last film' date=' these are so great could go on for a while. Loads of villains to play with too still.[/quote'] but, as per the promos, looks like it is the "epic conclusion" to the Batman Begins series.. which does not mean end of Batman movies, but perhaps last one from Nolan.

QYMExD8i8Q4 Everything thta is wrong in Dk Rises. Really Few things like blake knowing batman identity and the ending bring it down.

Very overrated movie IMO.
Seems you are not familiar Joel Schumacher's version of Batman, Bane looked like a freaking Mexican wrestler on steroids: bane.jpg Schumacher's films effectively killed the Batman series until Christopher Nolan came along. Here, he even apologises for one of the Batman movies he made: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6epsGrcuTs]Joel Schumacher apologizes for "Batman and Robin" - YouTube[/ame]

Tim Burton's batman originally showed how batman series has to be done...because the Batman and Gotham City have a very dark, brooding,Gothic feel to it. In this day and age Nolan has accurately portrayed the look and feel of it. I loved Nolan's series but I think he took it too seriously sometimes.Tim Burton struck the right balance between the comic book and the dark elements that Batman Comics symbolises. But if anyone thinks any of Nolan's movies were stupid, they can go back to watching the Rowdy Rathores and Salman Khan movies.

I could not take the film seriously past that point. It is a shame because the 1st 2 film's were excellent.

^Yes that was very poor, I enjoyed the film anyway, but even whilst watching it I was wtf? He just had to look into Waynes eyes...they could have had him deduce it with some detective work or something.... Also it seems Nolan is a fan of Prison Break. 'Alex' from PB gets a brief run out before he is killed right at the start in The Dark Knight and 'Bellick' in this film

Here is explanation from imdb-
How did Blake know Bruce Wayne is Batman? In his first conversation with Bruce, Blake reveals that he was also an orphan who watched his father's murder. That he understands what that does to a kid, how he like Bruce was trapped in his anger. He told Bruce, "You gotta learn to hide the anger. It's like putting on a mask." Blake recounts a visit Bruce made to the orphanage where Blake grew up. The moment Blake laid eyes on Billionaire Bruce stepping out of a fancy car with a supermodel on his arm, "Right when I saw you, I knew who you really were. I'd seen that look on your face before. It's the same one I learned myself." Blake wears his own version of the Billionaire mask to hide his own version of the Batman. Of course once Blake knows that Billionaire Bruce is a mask, he easily figures out what Bruce is hiding. Bruce finds comfort in confiding in Blake, and the end of Blake's journey is inevitable. He recognizes that Bruce is the mask because he wears his own.
The bolded part is intresting. If he means he had seen batman in mask and now bruce wayne. Really Batman DKR Takes place 9-10 Years after Batman begins. If you remember this kid- batman-begins-16.jpg I would actually loved it ,if somehow he was blake and robin. In batman begins batman gives him the grapple and also rachael says bruce in front of the kid.

^ Ah, that kid being Blake WOULD be good and a logical explanation...! It should have been that way, Blake could have returned the grapple to Wayne maybe to explain how he knew. The imdb snippet still does not quite explain it I would have also liked Blake to have been bit harder. Alot of the 'flaws' on that youtbe vid are very true thogh. Like Bane knowing where that R and D lab was- i did think that too. Plus right at the end Fox and his tech guys are working on a batcopter thingy and realise that auto pilot is fixed- but that copter was nuked!! unless there were spares of course. anyway , loads of films have flaws in them that way if you look hard enough

This is why Nolan is so good. Give him the same script and he does wonders :hatsoff:
