To be fair, Their concerns arent completely unfounded - Hawkeye has already shown considerable problems (Hughes lbw in Lanka, Hussey lbw and Lyon lbw in the last match- the last two were by Eagle eye though) There isnt any debate whether a pitch mat or a replay is accurate - so why not just use that to get the decision right for decisions that are clearly wrong.
