Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I think we will have more than 1 Ishant 1/124 Ashwin 3/152 :hysterical: Jokes aside, I'm betting on Gambhir.
vvvslaxman Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Who cares...we are now relegated to Indian fans of 80s/90s which used to feel happy if an Indian batsman would score a ton in overseas or avoid follow-on or even better draw a test match :(( We were not this bad in the 90s
Magneto Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Who cares...we are now relegated to Indian fans of 80s/90s which used to feel happy if an Indian batsman would score a ton in overseas or avoid follow-on or even better draw a test match :(( In the 1986 Australia tour, almost everyone scored a century. We drew the series, and India would have won it had rain not interfered in the Melbourne Test. We drew the Pakistan series in Pakistan as well. Same for 1992, where India played really well in two of the five Tests. Nothing has been so embarassing and hopeless as this series. Point is, we are not back to the 80s-90s, we have probably gone to the 60s.
NeutralCat Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Well Adelaide has always been a batting pitch, but the reports are saying that this time it has more grass and bounce+pace on it, lol at India if they thought they were going to get a nice easy shopping trip in Adelaide.
special K Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 In the 1986 Australia tour, almost everyone scored a century. We drew the series, and India would have won it had rain not interfered in the Melbourne Test. We drew the Pakistan series in Pakistan as well. Same for 1992, where India played really well in two of the fives Tests. Nothing has been so embarassing and hopeless as this series. Point is, we are not back to the 80s-90s, we have probably gone to the 60s. Back to the 30's. Bangladesh level.
deathmonger Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Back to the 30's. Bangladesh level. along with England. all out for less than 200 on a patta. now England and India - minnows - in - arms
Old guy Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 gambhir, kohli and saha impressing with gritty 40-50 (this is ideal situation ) just shows ya how low our expectations have come lol
Old guy Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 along with England. all out for less than 200 on a patta. now England and India - minnows - in - arms :cantstop: now we have a competitor for minnow's position england giving us tough competition :yay:
achilles Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 It should be Saha. It will be very interesting if he could score a hundred, take a few crucial catches, effect stumpings/run outs. Would be great to see the reaction of "I'm thinking about retiring from Tests" Dhoni :D
saneindian Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Send Kohli at number 5 and he would score one. Play Rohit in place of VVS and he would score one too. Alas both these things will not happen and hence no 100s.
Old guy Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 It should be Saha. It will be very interesting if he could score a hundred' date=' take a few crucial catches, effect stumpings/run outs. Would be great to see the reaction of "I'm thinking about retiring from Tests" Dhoni :D[/quote'] he might give up captaincy after series if that happens
achilles Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 he might give up captaincy after series if that happens Would be good. He's a trash overseas captain and player anyway.
rageaddict Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Maybe someone among viru or sachin will score it but who cares even if they do as the series is over now . meaningless runs altogether
yadhav500 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Without doubt some tons will appear, it's a typical Adelaide track. I reckon that incident which Rajiv has banned from discussing will happen. Honest.
Magneto Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 In order of probability: a) Sachin b) Viru c) Dravid d) Gambhir e) Laxman f) Ashwin g) Saha h) Ishant i) Umesh j) Zaheer k) Kohli
badmash Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 gambhir and kohli are most likely to get one from the above list
wanted_desi Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 I don't care, 3-0 already makes me sad whenever i think about it. I hope no senior makes it and LAxman gets king pair :D
FreakazoiD Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 The manchild will get his 100th 100 and more. One in each innings.
