Drop Mr.99 international hundreds Sachin Tendulkar. Get in Rohit Sharma Get in Ajinkya Rahane Give Mukund a second chance We don't need these experienced batsmen who are no good any longer. If they won't retire, drop them. If a captain objects, drop him as well.

Pujara Kohli Rohit Rahane Mukund Mandeep Singh Manish Pandey Manoj Tiwary Mandeep Singh Mayank Sidhana SuryaKumar Yadav Sushant Marathe (WK/batsman) Robin Bist Manpreet Juneja etc. Few of them will certainly shine.

Pick a young guy, give him 12-15 tests in all conditions and we will see some of the youngsters grabbing the chances. The team management too deserves kudos for keeping their faith in Kohli when the clamor was for him to be replaced by Rohit.

With the benefit of hindsight Mukund, Rohit and Rahane should have also played vs WI and at least 1 of those with Kohli should have played here

What has Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar achieved over the tours of England and Australia? Why is he so irreplacable? If Australia could drop Steve Waugh from their team when he became old, why can't we drop Sachin?

Yes now things are not going well and I am all for gradual phasing but dropping everyone is not the answer. Need to change the way we think and plan test cricket. I would sack selectors and coaches first and foremost. Possibly new test captain. Gauti and Laxman for me are the weak links. Need to groom Pujara and Rohit Sharma. Mukund should be in squad.

As I said I hold Dhoni, selectors and coach responsible for all this. Dhoni hasn't been proactive enough on the fields for me, with field settings and changing batting orders e.t.c Coach has been useless, how can he dismantle team so bad after Wright and Kirsten is beyond me. Selectors have made retarded selections like VK and Mithun in squad. Saha playing as test batsmen. Playing Ishant and Bhajji so long-carrying journeymen. No phase out plans made by them. No real statements of intent. Dropping everyone is not the answer because it will get worse, we won't even win at home. We need to build a team slowly. Legends have a role to play for future.
