rani joshi Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 A friend of mine who lives in Australia has found out something really sad about one f our team members in Australia. One of the cricketers ( jadeja) molested an Indian girl in Australia. Police is aware but the matter has been kept hush hush. If you read all the news stories about our cricketers returning home, no one has mentioned where jadeja has gone ( while all others have reached Mumbai or Delhi or chennai ) is he still in police custody there? I wish reporters would publish this news. I am sure once this news is public, CSK will lose a lot of good will amongst the public. That's probably why this news is being suppressed.
Robelinda Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Yes it has mentioned here in Oz, but not hugely. Specifics are hard to come by.
rani joshi Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Yes it has mentioned here in Oz' date=' but not hugely. Specifics are hard to come by.[/quote'] So, has the news been suppressed by the BCCI? What a shame!
Robelinda Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 The story leaked a few days ago, but not officially, not enough information for a full report by the press, but something VERY fishy going on indeed. I had heard he didnt return with the rest of the team to India.

NeutralCat Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Disgusting if this is true, the guy is a dud player and a multi millionaire, if this end up being true hope he servers time here in Australia, where you can't bribe the police and the police don't care how powerful and what connections you have.

Hope some Indian news reporter has the guts to expose him, if this is true. I won't be surprised if BCCI woul pay them to stay mum.
Number Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 this may be the reason Yusuf Pathan was there in Asia Cup squad. :nervous:
NeutralCat Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 If he did do it and is guilty I hope he serves his time in Australia and not India, he goes back to India he will get away with it guaranteed. I hope for his sake he is innocent, but it's pretty serious when the police actually take your passport and start asking questions, when it comes to rape and sexual assault the police in Australia take it extremely seriously.
rani joshi Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 He is not innocent. The girl involved is an acquaintance of my friend in Australia. She reported this to the police. I hope the Indian media can get hold of this story and make sure the public finds the truth.
NeutralCat Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Rani sorry for her, this is a disgrace and if he is guilty I hope he serves his time in Australia and not in India, in India he will get away with it. I hope she will recover, although I know something as serious as this is not a easy thing, once again I am sorry she had to go through this. My prayers are with her.
ganeshran Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 If you are accusing players of criminal activity, please post a news source to back up your claims.
rkt.india Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 but it was said that Pppu patel, Irfan, and Jadeja all three stayed there because their destination was Gujarat and there was not flight to Ahmadabad on that day, so they would be leaving the next according to the reports.
rani joshi Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 If you are accusing players of criminal activity' date=' please post a news source to back up your claims.[/quote'] I understand your concern. I wish this in formation was in printed news. If there are any Australian news sources, please let me know too.. My friend is a reputed physician in Sydney and would never accuse anyone of such charges unless he had proof. The Indian high commission is aware The only reason I posted this on this forum is in the hope that some Indian journalist would read it and hopefully get to the bottom of this story. I am sorry if I broke any rules. I just want justice to prevail.

I have yet to read a story where RJ is mentioned in the return home squad
