gs
Till he retires don't think Sachin will campaign for the Congress. Once he's retired, if at all he does decide to take politics as a career option, should be a welcome step irrespective of which party he joins. No disrespect, but Sachin has not demonstrated any leadership qualities on the cricket field. he was one of the poorest captains India had. This is not to say other Indian politicans have stellar credentials.

He won all the online votings by a landslide Lets leave aside the fact that 1 guy in this comparison is a 3 time CM, on what basis are you equating the two populations? Aren't you one of those that gets up on his soapbox drawing a line between Indian muslims and OTHER muslims whenever someone raises a point against Islamic terrorism? diga
The English language has some wonderfully anthropomorphic collective nouns for the various groups of animals. We are all familiar with a Herd of cows, a Flock of chickens, a School of fish and a Gaggle of geese. However, less widely known is a Pride of lions, a Murder of crows (as well as their cousins the rooks and ravens), an Exaltation of doves and, presumably, because they look so wise, a Parliament of owls. consider a gathering of Baboons. They are the loudest, most dangerous, most obnoxious, most viciously aggressive and least intelligent of all primates. And what is the proper collective noun for a group of baboons? Believe it or not ……. a Congress! I guess that pretty much explains the things that come out of our present government led by a party by that name, which has ruled and ruined our country for most of the 64 years since the British left us in their hands! In addition,Parthenium Grass, which grows wildly and destroys all the plants nearby is also known as CONGRESS GRASS.WHAT A COINCIDENCE! The opposite of PRO is CON, So the opposite of PROGRESS is CONGRESS!!! From a quote I read in one of the sites :--D
