Stuge Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 If cricket(t20) someday becomes an Olympic sport' date=' expect China to become a top t20 side in 15 years. The kind of improvement they have shown is other Olympic sports in such a short span is astounding.[/quote'] There is difference between individual sports and team game like cricket . Rashid Khan is their coach ;)
ganeshran Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Not sure. Calling them to India is safer option. :winky: :cantstop:

Zelig Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Can you tell when did they played their first international game in those sports ? They are yet to play a single international cricket match with test playing nation .Cricket isn't easy as people think . They might NEVER be good at Cricket, but your post sounded like they can NEVER be good at any team sport and I brought it to your notice that China have been doing well in other team sports - Basketball & Volleyball :dontknow:
Utalk Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Didn't they hire Javed miandad to introduce cricket to Chinese couple of years ago? Lagta hai he sent Faisal Iqbal for the assignment.
punjabi_khota Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Look like the Afghans were throwing grenades. :P
MCcricket Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Remember watching Crazy ret!@# Miandad talking very highly and how he sees them as a super talented team with lotsa potential, lol .I guess they might be using giant chopsticks instead of bats , or possibly Rhino horns and ball bearings instead of ball lol.LEATHER BALL NONO platic ball ish cheep:two_thumbs_up:
1983-2011 Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 this was a Chinese U-16 team, playing the Asian Cricket Council's U-16 Challenge Cup 2012. so i doubt their national team coach was coaching these lot, i think they just couldnt play fast bowlers, i have seen people who are not at good at cricket unable to connect a single ball with a bat bowled by a fast bowler in a gulley cricket or in School:cantstop: i think it was a case with these chinese teenagers
Clarke Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 That's easy, they must have used bat/pad/gloves/helmet etc that was Made in China
Raghav_12 Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 That's easy' date=' they must have used bat/pad/gloves/helmets etc that was Made in China[/quote'] thank god you didn't mention stumps. Looking at number of BOWLED dismissals, that would have been quite some expenditure.
akshayxyz Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 That's easy' date=' they must have used bat/pad/gloves/helmet etc that was Made in China[/quote'] Well - the players themselves were 'made in china'!!
