Laaloo Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 let s see his performance today and decide whether he is fast enough or he is a boring trundler- lets wait and watch him bowl today. Then why don't you wait first?
CG Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Then why don't you wait first? :hysterical::hysterical:,Yeah yeah they are bowling at unplayable speeds of 125km/h
Ultimate_Game Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 We got our answer. It's the 120-130 kph trundlers who showed up for us
chainsmoker1985 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 How many swing bowlers are you going to play in a single match? Praveen, Irfan and VK, bloody all swing bowlers, no hit the deck or tall bouncy bowler

Old guy Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Erm...we won the game? Pathan took 4 and Vinay took 3. What is your complaint now? did u saw the match bro ? pathan yes he did well enough but it was ashwin who really brought us back vinay .. when it was needed flooped so did pk .. so ya he is correct one swing bowler was enough maybe two.. as 2 out of 3 failed.!
The Dark Horse Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 He's just warming up after injury just chill guys:cool:

When it was needed? It was not needed because someone else performed. Calling it a 'flop' to have a poor spell and then come back to clean up the tail is a very harsh use of the term.

Calling it a 'flop' to have a poor spell and then come back to clean up the tail is a very harsh use of the term. You have 4 fast bowlers in squad. 3 out of them are swing bowlers, who bowls at 126-135 and look to swing the ball, then the 4rth fast bowler is a genuine pacer who hits the deck hard and bowls consistent 140+. You yourself answer this question, if you have to choose 3 bowlers out of 4, who will you choose. Definitely, anyone will go with 2 swing bowlers and 1 hit the deck bowler. IMO, PK and VK should not at all be picked together. Even Bangladesh pace attack looks better in front of us, in terms of speed and aggression. They have Murtaja(135), Islam(135-140) and Shahdat Hossain(135). And what is Jadeja doing in the team, for last so many matches?
jairamesh Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Dinda? benchwarmer What's the point, really what's the effing point of these selections. It boggles the mind how this management is going take this team forward, there isn't even a hint of risk taking.

I too would have picked Dinda, but the priority would have been Praveen being in poor form rather than any sort of pseudo-science around bowler style.
vishalvirsingh Posted March 14, 2012 Author Posted March 14, 2012 I did not see Indian bowling. Vk bowled under 130K My heart is BROKEN I hate him

vishalvirsingh Posted March 14, 2012 Author Posted March 14, 2012 :haha: What disappoints me is that when he is capable to bowl fast upto 140K why does he not push himself to do his best?? Munaf was like that- capable to bowl at 144K but wud bowl at 125K- and expect good line n length at 125K will fetch him wicekts. Thats whay I still favour and support ISHANT as I beleive that its just a matter of next match or the next when he will take bucket full of wickets as I beleive a genuine fast bowler ( 140K+) will get bucket full of wickets as soon as his line n length is sorted out well. VK will be sorted out soon and he will become totally wicekt less and will be thrashed like anything if he does not improve back.
