Manny_Pacquiao Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 west zone has an international class batting lineup. better than some international teams. btw, how on earth is iqbal abdulla not playing for india? he has a list A average of 21. india has plenty of quality young players in reserve, but not many are even on the fringes. this why the team desperately needs CSK cheeka and his band of chtuhiya selectors to get the hell away from indian cricket so a new selection committee can try out some new players.

Since when were Indian players selected on the basis of merit? Abdulla is not playing because he'd be the one to fill Jaddu's role (lower-order batsman and left-arm spinner) and we all know that Jaddu is very close to Dhoni and the selectors.

About Iqbal Abdullah, won't be long before he gets to play for India. A terrific fielder, economical spinner yet a wicket taker and can tonk the ball a fair distance.
MCcricket Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 I qbal Abdullah was impressive , what I saw of him, also uses the crease very well while bowling , and a good bat, fielder, can be tried in place of Jaddu for sure, that won't happen under Cheeka,Dhoni,I would have played Rahul Shamra in each and every game he could play not warm the bech and see mediocre guys play lol, what a joke.
