The team needs to go through the transformation period now as it is the ripe opportunity with nothing further to lose now. When we are at the top of rankings we find it difficult to take risks. So, he was dropped for his slow batting which is normal has happened to many people before and will probably happen to many after. What is abnormal is some deliberately slowing down his entire innings to get to a milestone and in the process costing the team a win. :winky: This is why the 100x100 is so special. :two_thumbs_up:

What award critics and bhakths would have, well the annual appraisal which there boss and company management have given them. Ten Years down the line: Whole of India including critics will talk about Arjun Tendulkar. Who will talk about the sons and daughters of critics few handful of relatives and friends. Fifty Years down the line: Not even a dog will bark when these critics or bhakths will die. But Sachin Tendulkar would be given shradhanjali by Parliament of India and even national flag will be half hoisted. Two hundred year after: There will be no one who will take our name also no proof of our existence but he will still be talked about by the then generation. Bottom line is lets have a peace for few days on the name of bhakths, haters have hit below the belt many times to this great player and fans have said bad words about many great players of yesteryears. Lets stop this, Sachin Tendulkar was and is a brilliant batsman now he is better than xyz or not that is upon individual choice and everybodies individual choice must be respected.

By the way they're paid very well to play great cricket which is the same for every Indian cricketer. However what is not same is that when someone else played poorly, he was asked to retire.
