Of course they are less vocal about it. After all a female orgasm is not required for havign kids so who cares. Even though the supreme court used the word spouse, its has somehow become about a woman denying a man sex (I know that the the court case was about a man accusing a woman but still)

But then, you have to consider another side as well - a sex starved man is legally not allowed to have sex outside the marriage. But a sex starved woman is legally allowed to sleep with other men. So men sort of have a right to whine about denial of sex.

The law states that: Whoever has sexual intercourse with a person who is and whom he knows or has reason to believe to be the wife of another man, without the consent or connivance of that man, such sexual intercourse not amounting to the offense of rape, is guilty of the offense of adultery, and shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to five years, or with fine, or with both. In such case, the wife shall not be punishable as an abettor Lets try and decipher this legal jargon, First off, we have to distinguish between adultery as a reason for divorce and punishment for adultery. The above mentioned paragraph states that Indian law can penalize sexual relationship of a man with a married woman if it is without the consent of her husband. The offense here is on the husband of the adulteress. Thereby, the law implies that if a man is having a sexual relationship with an unmarried woman, or with a married woman after the consent of her husband, or a CSW, or a widow, his wife cannot prosecute him or the adulteress.* It also means that, if a man is having a sexual relationship with a woman with out her husbands consent, the husband can only prosecute the man and not his own wife. (*) However, all these extra marital relationships still fall under the ambit of adultery and can be valid grounds for a divorce. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So , neither a sex starved woman nor a sex starved man are 'allowed' to have an extra marital relationship. Both are classified as adultery. And both can be used against the erring party in a divorce settlement. However, its only the man who is going to punished (upto 5 years of jail and/or a fine) for committing adultery.
