maniac
While everyone is talking about Cook and Pietersen....we need to remember that Bell and Trott havent fired in this series so far.....are they p*** poor in these condditions?yes but are we great at making legends out of p*** poor players?double yes. Not to forget our eternal boogeyman Prior and Motu who doesn't look completely out of place while batting... Also we need to keep up our tradition of creating a new legend out of a debutant...here is where compton comes in Link to comment
Yoda-esque
England have got our number guys.. Its all psychological from now on Link to comment

CG
This pitch is not as flat as other eden garden pitches. There is a brownish look to the pitch which suggests there is some moisture and due to winter there will always be nip in the air.The ball is also reversing which is great for zak and ojha has troubled every english batsman. Shunya
We have not lost at eden gardens for a decade now.We have Managed incredible comebacks Like 2001 and even against SA in 2010 .SA Were 200-1. Dhoni has done well at Eden gardens so he will score some runs tomm somehow and Zaheer and ishant and spinners will do the job for us.:two_thumbs_up: I agree... Link to comment
Eternal Atma
Changes for final test It may seem too early and I still believe we can win this test match but what changes would you make? We need to give ourselves the best chance for final test. For me: Drop Kohli for Tiwary Drop UV for Rohit/Rahane Possibly drop Ashwin and Ishant based on how they bowl in this match. Maybe try Pankaj and Jaddu as specialist spinner. He did trouble England before albeit in ODI's and has been bowling well on benign tracks. N.B-I believe Kohli will make it as a test cricketer but we need to think of the final test, not the future. Choose the best team and all that.. Link to comment
Trichromatic
Drop Ashwin and bring Jaddu as spinner. Link to comment
Sachin=GOD
not even the first innings of this test has finished and you are talking about changes for the next match  Link to comment

Eternal Atma
not even the first innings of this test has finished and you are talking about changes for the next match  If you actually read my post it's clear I am emphasising that this is not a knee jerk reaction. The way I see it both Kohli and UV have had plenty of time to make an impact at crucial match points and both failed throughout the series. Link to comment
Eternal Atma
Drop Ashwin and bring Jaddu as spinner. Strengthen batting and boy do we need it. No point trying Mishra, Chawla.. Jaddu flights it well with good turn and I think he could make an impact. Link to comment
Eternal Atma
Too soon. :orderorder: Not really. Kohli and UV should be dropped regardless of second innings. Link to comment
Brainfade
Sreesanth is not yet fit :( A thoroughbred Kannadiga would say "Sreesanthge fitness koDOdu onde, gomateshwaranige chaddi wolsOdu onde." Rough translation: "Trying to get Sreesanth fit to play is as futile as trying to tailor an undergarment for Gomateshwara." PS: You may have to look up "Gomateshwara". Link to comment
Eternal Atma
Sreesanth is not yet fit :( I think he is our best seamer and when Lillee mentioned the importance of a go to man who can shift gears, he came to my mind. Any news on his fitnesss? He has had it tough with so many ops on his feet. Link to comment
