Still the fittest among the seniors. Fastest between the wickets.
Yeah- but fitness also helps concentration and energy in the field- something the keeper has to lead on.

Trotty is certainly due a big one- getting back into form in the last game and he is catching well at slip as well. Wouldn't be surprised if he got a big hundred in the last game. Bell needs some runs though and we need to sort number 6 out.

It's a good move if it's part of a long term transition. While Zaheer has been bowling decently, and there are bigger dead weights in the team, he is 34 years old and has not given up any format of the game. He does not have much left in the tank and it's certainly not a bad idea to try out other bowlers on these tracks where the role of the fast bowlers is not as much.

Quite an interesting position as well in that none of the Indian spinners would get into the England team and yet a turning pitch is still likely.

man to man we lose big time cook is better then both gambhir and sehwag both inclass and form compton is rookie but he has potential trott bell suck but they have kp so pujara is better then trott kp better then sachin there keeper is better then ours.... kohli and bell have been equally dismal

Maar le Bhai..tu bhi maar le
Nah. It's just the irony of the 'rank turner' statement. I wouldn't have bet my life on England amassing 400+ scores on spinning wickets before this series. Just goes to show how resilient England is under Cook's leadership.

Shouldn't a rank turner mean an automatic win for India? Or did I miss something?:hmmm:
:hysterical: You missed nothing, just a couple of Tests. :giggle:

I hope the wicket is a flat patta which breaks down on Day 4. I'll be watching the match and I want my money's worth for all 5 days. :hitler: No 'immoral' cheating on me, otherwise I'll go to the consumer forum. :weights:

28 runs in chase of 41 is enough to say he is back to form ? The kind of threads this OP creates is
He scored 68% of the winning runs for England. :omg: :hail:
