Crookbond Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 37-17-58-2 These are Alf Valentine-sque figures and he did the job with the ball as required. I don't think he's a permanent solution but he provided the much needed option to his captain.
Crookbond Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Relax Boy :icflove:' date=' and yes to reply in a more "civil" manner, [b']dhoni chose his resources. He got what he asked for. Fair enough and I had that point while making the comment. But, I'm not sure the "options" were that great either. In any case, :icflove:

Crookbond Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Has to do something with the bat too' date='been selected at no.6 after all[/quote'] Yes - I also subtly mentioned he did his job "with the ball". I hope he does something with the bat and saves us the ignominy of a home defeat. I do not particularly like R Jadeja but given the circumstances I'm ready to live with him.

gimac Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Yeah, let him finish with a PAIR. England have played far better than India and they deserve to take the series. .....and Tendu has left :(
Pagalpanti Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 200+ sure Eng will at least get around 150+ lead. Don't see India making even 200.
gimac Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Can't tell for certain becouse cricket is such a game. but yes, they are on their way down. O heck, Gauti is gone now.
coffee_rules Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 I proclaimed this when Eng were 199-5. When Ishant was unplayable in the morning, I was wondering how well Anderson would bowl and our batsmen in current form would reel. Inadequate preparation for test cricket. I think when India beat Eng in the T20I in SL, they thought Eng would roll over and play dead in India. After the first test win, that was proven, Indians were over-confident.
urbestfriend Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Out best batsmen are yet to come, a triple centurion and our highest scorer in last match , also an all rounded person ...Hope we can take a small lead :cantstop:
Old guy Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 he is the saviour of indian cricket just see how he turns this match around with his bat legend will prevail!
adi B Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 mumbai was good..nagpur is unusually poor, should have kept some grass on the top
