saneindian Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Match 1 CSK vs MI 1. Abu Nechim- Seems to have regressed since the highs of Champions League where he was hitting mid 140s consistently. Here he struggled with his line and length, was around 135-136 kmph with a peak of 139 kmph, couldn't quite get the yorker right. Early days in the tournament, but with Munaf and RP Singh on bench, Abu nechim will have to grab every chance coming his way to keep his spot in the final 11. 2. Rayudu- Showed his brilliance on the field with that run out of Faf Duplesis. During the chase, batted calmly to guide his team home. A very good game for him. DK as the specialist keeper in the side may see him show his full potential as at20 batsman in this edition.
saneindian Posted April 5, 2012 Author Posted April 5, 2012 I am excite about Abdulla Abdulla and Bipul Sharma (SLA spinner from Punjab) are two names to keep track of among the left arm spinners. Mandeep Singh, Surya Yadav among batsmen.

Did not look to put much effort yesterday though.
Lord Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Abdulla and Bipul Sharma (SLA spinner from Punjab) are two names to keep track of among the left arm spinners. Mandeep Singh, Surya Yadav among batsmen. Bipul Sharma is crap from what I've seen.dont think he'll even play.Abdulla is quality . also hope Shami Ahmed plays today
abhinav Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 I am also eager to see how Stuart Binny takes it on for RRR after a stellar Domestic season. He has certainly progressed. Also, Robin Bisht, will be interesting to see if he can be an effective T20 batsmen.
Pagalpanti Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 This guy Das is certainly impressing in his first outing.
saneindian Posted April 5, 2012 Author Posted April 5, 2012 Good batting by Das and Shukla, both not exactly young though. Shahbaz Nadeem was disappointing and the leggie Yogesh Nagar didn't get to bowl.
vvvslaxman Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Batting i am not going to rate anyone based on IPL.. Bowlers are the ones who we need to watch out for.
jind Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 It's a pity the likes of Suryakumar yadav don't find a spot in XI.
Number Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 ^ Agree. I hope SK Yadav and Mandeep get some games.

RedFever Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 It's a pity the likes of Suryakumar yadav don't find a spot in XI. Surya Kumar Yadav should have played for a minnow team like KXIP or RR..
