Finn is as tall as him 6'8". He played a match or two for WI in Aus, did decently. Pace was between 135-140.

vishalvirsingh Posted April 7, 2013 Author Posted April 7, 2013 In the india australia series Ishant bowled one over to that left handed batsman and got him out at 99- complete over he bowled between 140 to 143.2......he got the guy to edge a ball at 143 and got him. In the entire series he bowled under 140K except for those 7 to 8 balls where he suddenly got the Superman Power. In the IPL match his entire 24 balls were between 139 to 144K And I have noticed that in previous IPL he bowled as fast as Umesh And Dale steyn....he even bowled a 150K ball possibly- correct me if I am wrong How come this guy turns inTo an UNPLAYABLE DEVIL A fast bowlers throwing rockets at the right length He did not get a wicket but gave just 22 runs and was one main reason why mishra got The wickets as batsman cud not score of him and steyn both.... Why in Tests his pace is like bhuvnesh and in IPL, he matches STEYN

Recent times i remember Steyn,Morkel,pationson,Tino,Yadav etc do this,ishant has ability to do it but not stamina to sustain it to long periods..he had one spell in 3rd test where he bowled 140 +
rkt.india Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Ishant has very good stamina. His problem is rhythm. he is a rhythm bowler. In rhythm, he can be as quick as any. Yadav and Aaron are power bowler. Shukla is another who is a power bowler. These 3 guys will bowl sustained speed any time if fit. Ishant varies a lot because of his rhythm issues. He loses his action and balance very quickly. Power bowler can get fatigue quicker than rhythm bowlers if they lack stamina and are not extremely fit like Yadav.

NareshK Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Awana always bowls 140+. He has also done well in FC. Its stupid to drop him after just one bad T20 game against England. He should have played the ODI series against England.
