WTF am I in some padosi site? Whats with all the negativity? Indian bowling always sucked but that did not stop it from beating the top teams. This time its no different. India has the ability to bat out its oppositions with little to no help from its bowlers. I am confident this team can do it too. Yeah that was pathetic. If you're going to put him in, might as well swap him for someone equally as hopeless. In many ways, I'm surprised we won that WC. It was more down to being bailed out by guys like Yuvraj rather than Dhoni's tactics.

Exactly. Dhoni should be using the part-timers more. With guys like Rohit, Sehwag, Yuvraj, Raina and Kohli in the team you can change around the bowler so much, most batsmen will never face the same guy twice. After that, it's straightforward. Whoever is turning the ball well on the pitch comes back, whoever got slaughtered doesn't. If you play these guys out in the middle overs you can save at least 2 overs for Ashwin at the end, if not more. Finally India will stop getting crushed in the death overs. As for the 'specialist' bowlers, as long as they can bat and field they're in (Ashwin, who is decent anyway, Pathan who has his days, Bhajji who can be economical at times).

Well Dinda turns it more but Bhaji bowls quicker. Tough choice. All jokes aside I would defo play bhaji, he is very good in limited over formats as always keeps run rate low. His darts in to leg stump are very effective in this format. And can slog a few in to the stands.

Why India must chase This has already been discussed a few times here, but I think the following lines from a Cricinfo article (unfortunately written by the Chappal) sum it up best:

Guys like Kohli, Raina, Yuvraj, Gambhir and even MSD himself are decent run-chasers, and in fact some of them seem to perform better when they have to chase (with only Kohli currently showing good form regardless of when he comes in to bat). Sehwag, as far as I'm concerned, has sadly turned into our Afridi. A bonus player who's either going to put quick runs on the board or make a quick exit. In any case, he doesn't waste too many deliveries, and there's relief in the fact that Kohli comes in at 3.
