We won the 2007 WC by playing the matches without fear. Fearless cricket was the mantra till he gave the final over to Joginder sharma. We should play the same brand of cricket again. Bring in Sehwag and don't worry about bowling much. Using 5 bowlers won't work.

Lots of successful chases these past two days. Lankans and Aussies made it look easy. England didn't struggle much either, Pakistan scraped through as well.

Most complete team? Looks like the Aussies so far. Best fielding by far, excellent running b/w the wickets, most destructive opening pair (crucial for powerplays), decent bowling attack. SA have the right players but poor tactics, and still seem to be choking (can't understand why, just because their predecessors were chokers doesn't mean they should be as well). Also, their players are better suited to tests than limited overs. Pakistan have excellent bowling options for the conditions, but their fielding is weak and their batting lineup can crumble very quickly. Decent opening pair though. India have some good fielders, but some poor ones too. Strong batting line-up but none of the batsmen have really looked destructive, and they don't use the powerplay and death overs well enough. The bowling unit is very fragile. SL have a good top 3 in batting, but are also prone to crumbling. The bowling is decent and their fielders are not too bad. WI have powerful batsmen, but most of them aren't exactly in peak form. Decent opening pair, some good fielders, but very vulnerable bowling. England lose their wickets quickly, but they have two decent batsmen in Morgan and Wright. Their fielding is good, but the bowling isn't very well adapted to the conditions. NZ's batsmen are in terrible form, despite some decent names in the line-up, and they've failed to post reasonable totals. The bowling attack isn't particularly dangerous and the fielding generally seems to be ok.

I doubt in T20 we can define such a team. It just what happens on that day. With regards to the Aussies, I would wait to see how they fare once their openers do not perform. Recent evidences in UAE tell me they are far from being a "complete" team.

I was not giving a lot of chances to australia. but there performace yesterday was impressive, specially with the bowl. they do have a strng batting line up but I feel that the middlie order is yet to be tested. The 2 at the top have dominated and Hussey is proven but there might be some chinks there which have not been noticed. But, yes Oz have most bases covered.

Sehwag must play the remaining matches in the WC T20 It's downright stupid to drop the only batsman in the team with a "great" status - and this great status was not a Dravid kind of great where one might be not suited for the quicker format. Sehwag is a force who can derail opposition plans in the space of an over, even if he does not score big runs - the WC semi final against Pakistan is an example of how he finished off one of their best bowlers with a 7-8 over presence. Sehwag is not some Afridi kind of a hack - he is an accomplished test batsman and for him to be sitting out ahead of Dhoni, Raina, Yuvraj, Rohit, Gambhir doesn't make any sense. Yeah granted we don't have a back up keeper for Dhoni in the series or that Yuvraj does fill in some good part time overs, but with the broader point conveyed Sehwag remains the only hope for India in this tournament. With 0-6 prior to this tournament a very vocal lament for Sehwag's absence in those fixtures due to injury - well he is available now and still very much capable of scoring as his average of 37 with a strike rate of 115 in ODIs over the past year shows.
