Very nicely written :two_thumbs_up: Regarding our bowling attack, I think in Sri Lankan conditions we have done well in the past couple of years, especially Pathan (swing) and part timers (economical). I think we have a real shot at the cup if our batsmen consistently post 150+ or don't crumble while chasing.

Lol I still remember in the 09 T20 WC when playing Eng Dhoni promoted his lover, a virgin by the name of Jadeja, who almost singlehandedly ensured Ind lost as he blocked out delivery after delivery while the likes of Pathan sat on the bench. That was just tragic.

my fav is england :vroam:
even India has much greater chances than england. England with no KP and swann underperforming will do no good in SC. Having said that England have played almost every match at home in the last 6 months so getting used to lankan conditions will be very diffcult. This is the order of the team who are likely to win,(in decreasing order) 1) SA 2) West Indies 3) Srilanka 4) India 5) Aus 6)England 7) Pakistan 8) New zeland 9) Bangla 10) Zimbabwe Then again, as we all know SAffers choke so dont be suprised if Zimbos have better result than them

im not meaning that. Im saying that India though have failed miserably last 2 times still has much better chance than the defending champions this time around. Indian batsman are exceptional when it comes to playing spin starting from Gambo to aswhin

came here to say this' date='Dhoni should not be playing international T20.[/quote'] Thats akin to saying Shakespeare shouldn't have written novels, Beethoven shouldn't have composed music and Flamy shouldn't be trolling. :P Maybe you should take a look at his batting statistics in T20/IPL. http://www.thatscricket.com/statistics/player-stats-ipl/ms-dhoni-chennai-super-kings.html He has an avg of 37.15 in T 20 at a strike rate of 136.52. What else do you need? And I'm not even talking about his cool as a cucumber personality and the ability to hold his nerve in pressure situations, where many lesser captains would have cracked.

My XI for 1st t20 match against the KIWIS:- Sehwag Gambhir Kohli Yuvraj(have to play to prove his fitness) Dhoni© Raina Irfan Ashwin Harbhajan(have to play to prove his form) Balaji Dinda who performs better between Bala & Dinda should play along with Zak in the first XI in the WC.With this gun batting line up & weak bowling I'll go with 6 batsmen & 5 bowlers as we've Irfan,Ashwin & Harbhajan at 7,8 & 9 respectively who'll offer a lot both with bat & ball.So it's a nice balanced side.

Nicely written. :hatsoff: liked this part specially. :two_thumbs_up: As for India's chances, Batting wise we have the strongest team for the conditions but they'll be under so much pressure to outscore opposition every time they go into bat. Hope bowlers do well in the crunch games.
Our bowling sucks but our batting side is the best in these conditions.

Srilanka may perform well in the tournament, maybe better than us but we'll kick their ass & own them as usual one on one.:yayo:

I would be more than happy to see us not exit after the prelim round. Out t20 strategy has been shambolic for the last 3-4 years and MSD still leading the T20 side despite being perhaps the worst T20 captain in T20s recently.

WI is a serious contender this time with gayle and narine in top form and bravos too wont give up with out a fight. and if pollard too finds his form then they would be the hot favourites to win thisB->
