Who is/is Going to be India's Xfactor in WT20? Every team seems to have 'that' player who can singlehandedly take the game away in this tourney....If KP was playing this tournament for Eng...it would be obvious but looks like Eng and India are the only teams with no real difference maker...pre-cancer it would have been Yuvi but can't say that anymore...even someone like Yusuf Pathan on these pitches and this format could have been that but obviously he is not picked. WI-Gayle,Pollard,Narine Pak-Ajmal NZL-Mccullum SL-Malinga Aus-Warner,Watson SA-Steyn,Morkel We don't seem to have that 'It' factor in our squad anymore :(

Steyn is not exactly an X fator in T20. But ABDV can be.
The guy was unplayable in some spells in IPL...obviosuly may not be a benchmark again but except for that one game where he was tonked around by ABDV,he was always threatening...but you areright ABDV is damn good in this format too.

Sounds like a new way to tick off Virat to me. India win or loose, its now most expected that Kholi end up topped all those stats.
When Kohli clicks India more often than not wins rather than loses.

Agree...Kohli is as close as it comes for us being an xfactor ......but in this format at the international level...he is still no Gayle or Malinga when it comes to being the go to player for his team. Hopefully he will change that at the T20 level also

Yuvraj is the only X factor we ever had in T20. Given the situation he is not expected to be a big factor.

we are not underdogs but we are not exactly favourites either. Looking at the way sri lanka dismissed WI (who i personally thought would be a force in this tournament) I think they will start off as favourites. Ashwin would do well to avoid the media and not make any statements, especially after his t20 figures.
Don't worry they will still get bitc.h slapped if they play us :haha: no sure about other teams though.

Can't believe the arrogance from some of our fans despite we suck left ' date=' right , center in this format.[/quote'] Bookies and betting sites are also considering India as favorite .South Africa is always considered as major contender despite failing to win knock out match .

Yeah I also think india have the potential of making an upset to finally win something in Super 8...
Thanks...Let me return the compliment by saying, you guys have a great potential in beating us in a practice game that no one apart from Pak fans care about....Hopefully that will give some kind of closure to you guys for the last 20 years of pain when it comes to World tournaments
