Sidhoni Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 8 matches have passed and all have been fairly one-sided, which is highly unlikely in T20s. There is no real fun in watching the matches where one team wins the match by a big margin and the other team is not in contention for most of the match. And the strategic timeouts at times where the chasing team needs 60 runs off the last 4 overs with 2 wickets left are very annoying. Even the players of the chasing team do not look interested and do not show the will to win. Here's hoping that the next games are nail-biters which go down to the wire!

What I am saying is, that in every match, the winning team won by a big margin and the matches were not close and exciting.

I would still say majority of games we really were not sure who was going to win till the late overs.

In both the games, the sides batting second lost wickets earlier and for most part of the chase were looking out of the competition. But the margin of 22 runs does not suggest that they were not in the game for most of the innings because Lee for KKR and Sharma for KXIP propelled the scores to over 140. Even when the tailenders were batting well , everyone knew that their side did not have a chance of winning.

You do not like upsets and want the margin of victory to be very small. Sorry, but majority of matches so far have gone down the wire, and I really can't understand why you are demanding so much more. Just because a team wins by +15 does not equal to a comfort victory.
