Lurker Posted April 12, 2012 Author Posted April 12, 2012 Dudes keep Sachin out of these thread. There are enough Sachin threads as is. Should you like open a new one, dont mess this one up. plz
India-KXIP fan Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Hard to take folks like you seriously :P And since you are banking so much on Sachin. I m sure you are not aware of his record when 2 atg bowlers are in the opposition. Who knows even Sammervera might be a better choice as at least he won't choke :hysterical: But you can keep dreaming :--D Strong proof :giggle: OMG Sachin is such a bad player. I've said it everyone believe me :hitler:
zen Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Dudes keep Sachin out of these thread. There are enough Sachin threads as is. Should you like open a new one' date=' dont mess this one up. plz[/quote'] That's what I told him but let's not act as if this is some classic thread or as if you don't discuss SRT on other ppl's threads :winky:
zen Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Strong proof :giggle: OMG Sachin is such a bad player. I've said it everyone believe me :hitler: Great logical conclusion .... I get it that it hurts if someone doesn't select Sachin in his at11 so you get that urge to discuss that 11 :P Keep trolling .... But dont expect me or others to reply to your nonsense And if someone can clean up his troll posts!
King Tendulkar Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Dudes keep Sachin out of these thread. There are enough Sachin threads as is. Should you like open a new one' date=' dont mess this one up. plz[/quote'] :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:From the guy who spends his whole ICF experience(in between his delusions of intellectual greatness) trolling threads to slander sachin:hysterical::hysterical: Whats the matter? Cos its your thread you dont want it wrecked like you have done to others. What a hypocrite:haha:
zen Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 this thread is getting better with KT taking a stand on hypocrisy :hysterical:

Manny_Pacquiao Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 nobody seems to be mentioning rahul dravid in this discussion of all time greats i'm very disappointed
Ultimate_Game Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 nobody seems to be mentioning rahul dravid in this discussion of all time greats i'm very disappointed There are only 4 middle order positions available after the openers and Dravid doesn't get into the Top 4 batsmen of all times. Likes of Bradman, Richards, Tendulkar, Sobers, Lara, Ponting and kallis were better.
pensionplan Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 There are only 4 middle order positions available after the openers and Dravid doesn't get into the Top 4 batsmen of all times. Likes of Bradman' date=' Richards, Tendulkar, Sobers, Lara, Ponting and kallis were better.[/quote']It is not that cut and dry, outside of DGB and his 100 average a case can be made for RD to be picked over the rest in the list you stated for Tests. It is all a matter of preference when picking 3 or 4 from a long list of great batsman. One can even make a case for the likes of Allan Border truth be told for the great battles he waged playing some of the best attacks of all time in the 80's. I am sure there are other such worthy batsman that can command a place over a IVR, BCL or a SRT.
mishra Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Dudes keep Sachin out of these thread. There are enough Sachin threads as is. Should you like open a new one' date=' dont mess this one up. plz[/quote'] You killed the thread by asking people not to discuss Sachin..... Same is true in all Bradman threads. People discuss him for Sachin. That is how much we are bradman fan, else who cares of mohen jodaro players. Anyway, Giving it a Mercy hump
Stan AF Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Team A with 2 changes. I would replace Lillee with Steyn and Barnes with Mcgrath.
The Outsider Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 nobody seems to be mentioning rahul dravid in this discussion of all time greats i'm very disappointed Don't fret too much - there is Bradman at number 3 - a walking wicket.
jairamesh Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Richie Benaud is better place than any to make a call on an all time world XI. But I question his selection of players who played before even he was born, that too without any meaningful video highlights, i.e. Hobbs, Barnes, etc.
jairamesh Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 my XI based on my own personal viewing experience rather then some babus: Sehwag, Langer, Ponting, Tendulkar, Lara, Gilly©, Flintoff, Akram, Steyn, Murli, McGrath. If chucking was banned then Warney instead of Murli.
