vvvslaxman Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I would even forgive RJ Pietersen's runs as they were outrageously played. But last 2 sixes criminal.
Stuge Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 even ICC is taking digg at piyush chawala and Munaf Patel :hysterical:
Prakat Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Great death over bowling; it killed all chances of KXIIP winning.
yoda Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 This was a game where I wanted both teams to lose. :((
NareshK Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 And to think, this guy was supposed to be a part of the World Cup team. Dhoni was giving him endless chances to get his "form" back in the early part of the tournament. Its good that Yuvraj Singh delivered with the ball when it mattered, otherwise between this guy and Bhajji, it would have been game over.
ganeshran Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 ^ +1. If Yuvraj hadnt stepped up with his bowling, we could have pretty much kissed the cup goodbye. Half tracker chawla did his best to ruin it
asterix Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 ^ Raises lot's questions about strange selections. Harsha was talking about RP Singh's strange last minute selection in that wretched England tour.. Hope bowlers like RP, Munna, Bhajji, Chawla should never come back in the Indian team..Few of them have temperamental issues too... I'm bit disappointed by Pragyan Ojha's off form. Even unknown orthodox left arm spinners are striking Gold in IPL....And it's not that they are bowling flatter tragectory. They are getting wickets by flighting and spinning the ball..Ojha might not get another game as Petersen (with his batting capabilities) might have nudged him out of favour.. But then again, you never know of MI, Tendulkar and Bhajji's wisdom (when they cannot give more than one over to Petersen in the last match).. Can have stinkier brainfarts.. Watching Bhajji's bowling was an embarassment yesterday and I was thanking God almighty that he's finally out of the team..He's completely lost it...
ganeshran Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 People on ICf were crying for RP's selection back then during the England tour, because of his wonderful performance the last time around. The selectors too thought the same only to find a tyre around his belly when he joined the side. You can cry hoarse about conspiracies in hindsight, but the decision seemed the logical one at the time
asterix Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Well I am not crying hoarse conspiracy etc. Harsha Bhogle was mentioning it yesterday. Maybe you can blame him.. Since when Indian Selectors started getting swayed by popular perception? You must be kidding that Selectors were not aware of his 'tyre around the belly'..
