Old guy Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 i guess we will do just fine at home need to find a spinner who is good even on away pitches who keeps things tight
Number Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 this seems to be a square turner. Why Rahul Sharma is not getting wickets ? :hmmm:
jj_28 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 @westindies: #WIvIND: OUT! Thomas forward but hit plumb by Darekar's arm ball. The young left-arm spinner is running through Windies here. WI 80-5 Wow how good is this and can he be the answer to our test spin problem? @westindies: #WIvIND: A good spinner is a joy to watch on a spinning surface. That's Darekar today! Now has 14-7-12-4 and his team is bossing the game These stats are amazing
jairamesh Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Seriously, we need to create more pitches like these for home games. But obviously won't be too long before the usual crowd start reprimanding such pitches and as usual BCCI will oblige with pants down.

SLICKR392 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 One more match to go, another A tour coming up..I am sure the likes of Bisht will get enough chances. Disappointing batting performance, so many 20s and 30s but just one 50, though in defense of the batsmen, going by the tweets, the pitch looks to be a tricky one and this is another low scoring match. The surprising part was to see the lesser known spinner dominate our batsmen most of whom are very good players of spin. Disappointing batting? How can we excpect a bunch young players, some of them touring for the first time to Windies to perform well on a pretty good bowling track.

Needforspeed Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 OUT! Five for Darekar. Permaul caught at slip by Rohit - a thick edge as he tried to cut. WI 172-8 - lead by 187. Pagon 42*
GautiMaan Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 They better wrap up the innings fast,Pujara has to fire once again if we are to chase this, the other guys dont inspire any confidence
Needforspeed Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Tea on Day 3. WI 180-8 Pagon 49* Johnson 0* - lead by 195 Darekar has 5-49
msb1991 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Darekar has made a good start to his First Class career. I think he is firmly behind Ashwin and Ojha in terms of Test selection for the moment, though.
Lord Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Darekar has made a good start to his First Class career. I think he is firmly behind Ashwin and Ojha in terms of Test selection for the moment' date=' though.[/quote'] yeah but disappointed with Rahul Sharma,he shouldnt be picked for tests now
Old guy Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 only if Pujara gets a ton he is due a failure.. its time rahane fires :wall:
Old guy Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 this is gonna be hard chase with both openers in terrible form
SLICKR392 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Rahul Sharma was a huge flop on this track. Rohit spun and bowled much better.
