Old guy Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 well dravid was initially a wicket keeper during the 2002-2003 period IIRC' date=' but then he decided to turn himself into a specialist batsman and look at the awesome returns he got. he simply excelled.[/quote']
Magneto Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Cameron Black is the ultimate troll. :hysterical: :hysterical: Everyone knows Dravid made his debut way back in 1996.
cameron_black Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 i know he debuted in the 90s. my point was there's a career for you if you're willing to stick it out as a specialist batsman, even after giving up wicket keeping.
Magneto Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 ^^^ Look at this guy's signature :hysterical: :hysterical:
Number Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 :hysterical: Cameron Black should keep ................ quite : ICFers.
Desi Cartman Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 MS Dhoni shouldn't keep and Sangakkara shouldn't speak. BTW he never says that MSD shouldnt keep. Its TOI's wonder headline :giggle:

PaceAttack Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 can't understand why you people don't see his batting talent. he can be the middle order rock' date=' maybe he can take dravid's place at the top if he doesn't keep.[/quote'] Buhahahaaaa.....:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: :yikes:
PSB_Zone Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 My theory is dhoni should keep but he should be freed frm one responsibility tht is captaincy the side..everything will be fine then... With India struggling ,fresh approach needs to be taken for the new season.Gambhir should be captain to free Dhoni of his enormous responsibilities & mental rigidness to drag the game to the last over.Lakshman should retire Rahane & Sharma should be permanent in Tests,Sehwag should bat in middle order coz bowlers hv found him. "Changes are inevitable for survival"..
PSB_Zone Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 rahane,gambhir{c},kohli{vc},sachin,sehwag, sharma,dhoni,bhajji,ashwin/ojha zaheer,Umesh ....Ishant for test Gambhir{c},sehwag,kohli,{vc},uv,dhoni,sharma,raina,bhajji,praveen, zaheer,yadav....Ishant for odi...
SLICKR392 Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 well dravid was initially a wicket keeper during the 2002-2003 period IIRC' date=' but then he decided to turn himself into a specialist batsman and look at the awesome returns he got. he simply excelled.[/quote'] You have got no idea why he became the keeper...and of all you have no knowledge of indian cricket. Dhoni to replace dravid at no.3?... Mega trolling
Adi_91 Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 But Dravid got his best form when he stopped wicket keeping, so I feel Sanga has a point.
CoverDrive Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Nanga never likes to keep even though he is quite good. he doesnt want to spoil his batting average. I remember Dilshan keeping in a test and struggling while nanga was in the team
achilles Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Truth is, Dhoni is smart to know that he doesn't deserve to be in the team as a batsman. Hence, he will keep wickets with broken fingers, keep complaining about the schedule, but not train a keeper for the future. Coz if he does, he will have to kick himself out of the team.
Executioner Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 The day when Dhoni will give up the gloves Zimbabwe will become a better team than India, MMW Because players like Pappu and Flopthappa will ensure that the team loses, with both gloves and the bat. Remember what uthappa did with PWI and also in the T20 against SA?
Number Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 ^ bit OTT but True. India will be extremely lucky to have another ODI batsman+ WK like Dhoni or even close to him. Though his performance in away tests is not good, but same goes for our batting legends in the recent times.
