ganeshran Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Sehwag is not a FTB. He plays spin very well too. Remember the Galle knock Yes he doesnt do well on seaming tracks given his extra dependence on hand eye coordination to offset his poor foot movement.

I have not implied in any ways that he is the greatest destroyer in the world, or that he will play awesomely in the T20 world cup or anything like that... :hmmm: Just appreciate the achievement and move on can we?

He certainly has the ability to make it 7 or 8 or even more than that. And he is not a flat track bully, don't forget his performance against the Kiwis in the previous two ODI series in New Zealand, his 195 at Melbourne, his brilliant match saving 151 at Adelaide, his centuries at England and the century on debut against South Africa at Bloemfontein.

PLEASE STOP looking for excuse. I had much hopes from Sehwag . However he shattered all with his carelessness. An average of 35 outside Sub-continent is not too good.

MCcricket Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Sehwag was coming back from injury and quickly sent with the team to England, as it takes time to get back to ur best form, he has scored everywhere, I have no doubt he will be back to scoring in all formats everywhere and maybe a bit more mature also he can captain the side well, although T20 is a different format u can judge a players form and his captaincy a bit.
