Is straight out of lock, stock. Also, can't stand titles that are derivative of Hollywood films. They could have named it so much better than just replacing new York with wasseypur.

I went there last year and a friend who stays there showed me the entire area from where the mafias rule. The whole area is populated with decently-designed bungalows and looks like a pretty-much quiet and a peaceful place. A lot of shooting has been done on location, and the mafias were extremely glad that their heroism/lives were being captured on celluloid.
