I am in Lucknow for the past one month, so how can I fix matches?," he questioned. "I am resting at home so how can I promise somebody to bowl no balls. Sandhu, who was involved as coach of the Chandigarh Lions in the ICL, said: "The players are probably frustrated because they didn't get their dues from the ICL organisers. They may be feeling insecure," Sandhu told MiD DAY on Tuesday. A few months ago, Sandhu accused a player of indulging in hanky-panky during the ICL. "Nowadays, people see all sorts of corrupt things happening. You open the newspaper and see not only politicians, but also businessmen involved in scams and getting away. This is where weak cricketers get their inspiration from," Sandhu felt. The Mumbai stalwart felt that T20 cricket propels even average cricketers into stardom. "Some of the IPL players are getting [paid] more than what they deserve. They are getting more than what their skill warrant. T20 has made an average cricketer into a superstar," he said. Sandhu said the latest spot-fixing controversy must serve as an eye-opener for all. "This is a lesson for everyone. no no no, this is only my stand, i do not expect every1 to think or feel like me...many people like ipl, few dont.... i personally am not a fan of ipl , so its just my view. by the way those were just not 2 series, those were humiliation, the way we lost, it was about the respect india lost in test cricket.

These were not just "losses". Taking into account the overall margins of defeats, we lost to England 0-4 and each loss was on par with an innings defeat. Nearly identical result in Australia. So there needs to be a better explanation than "we did not adjust to the conditions". No other team except Bangla has lost two consecutive tours in this manner during the entire history of the game. Non adjustment to condiitons is only a final observation and not a cause of defeat. What were the factors that contributed to our non adjustment to the conditions? Why could not we even play the way Bangla does in England?
