Dale Steyn Overs: 4 Runs: 8 Wickets: 3 Sign of a great bowler. He had a rough IPL but he still leaves his mark on this IPL5 with this spell. What a spell :hail:

Steyn is the baap of all bowlers and batsmen, whoever it maybe, only he was able to rattle all or any batsmen he played against, shook up Gayle with the ball before he got his wicket, Gony what better role model you wanna have then learn from the master.I have never seen someone with the accuracy , control, pace swing, every possible ingredient to be the perfect bowler, I would value him over any batsmen, bowler to have in my test side, from all the cricketers I have watched.

Dale Steyn in England should be phenomenal to watch. He is definitely the greatest bowler since McGrath but needs to improve his 4th innings record in tests. I will never forget his spell to Sachin in the test series in South Africa in 2010/2011.

boss player ian pont was instrumental in bringing him up into the main arena, also while he was our Bowling coach, our bowlers performed very well, and to highlight that our 4-0 victory against Kiwis. He also coached the BPL team that won the BPL The guy is smart, talented, and has a lot of self belief in what he does. India should pick him as a bowling coach. our retarted cricket board was stupid enough to let him go.

I think Philander will over shadow Steyn in England, like he did in NZ :agree: One of the main reasons is acclimatization. While Dale was busy playing in IPL, Philly has been knocking 'em W's for Somerset in the English Championship. Steyn has played just a couple of tests in UK, but his previous stints with Essex & Warwicks might keep him in good stead. If I'd to bet one, I'd pick Phildander to get more W's than Steyn.

No disrespect but India bowling coach role bigger than Bangladesh one. You seem a fan of Pont. What exactly is so special about him then?

he is a guy who knows what he is doing. He is not one of those coaches who will sit down and watch guys do their job. He is someone who is willing to go out there and help out fast bowlers btw, he also runs a pace academny in haryana. apart from pont and wasim akram I dont see any fast bowling coach who can change india's bowling attack. Umesh, aaron can prosper under him
