Arey, that is not the complete list. They have invited some people before the match, and will hand over the cheques to them.

Some of the beneficiaries have been invited to the DLF IPL 2012 Playoff venues. They will be presented their respective cheques before the start of the Playoff matches. It is practically difficult to invite all the beneficiaries for the matches, and hence, the others will be sent the cheques.

Read it carefully people, the list is for cricketers who have been invited to the IPL Playoffs to receive their cheques along with a small ceremony . It mentions the venue where they have been invited. The report says that those who are not invited will receive their cheques through mail.

What was wrong with ICL? It was a private league. Yes they ran it badly in terms of finances etc cause the BCCI managed to kill it, otherwise they were entitled to start their own league.
