You posted some latest news (Amitabh's impersonation, VHP yatra) to mock Modi fans, DM then mocks Modi fans saying: Now, diga posted out one latest news abt seculars(20% minority reservation) to suggest that secularism is worse. So? I don't get it. Are you saying this was the first time over the last few months that someone brought up this kind of argument? Since you know how to use ICF's search function, maybe you can also check how many times the word "secular" has been used in a derogatory way towards other posters? 2. You seemingly mock Gujarat even when police took due action, diga then brought out the inaction by Congress party. Why would I not mock them when it's an open secret that VHP and BJP have been hand in gloves for years, and even more so in wake of the latest development in UP? What has that got to do with the Congress inaction - your comparison of Modi with the current Congress government is akin to a circle jerk among Indians that we are better than Pakistan. 3. I appeal one more time, please treat others with respect that they deserve. There are more polite ways to express disapproval than saying the posts "smack of intellectual bankruptcy" which is not much better than calling someone intellectually bankrupt directly in terms of rudeness. I am sorry, but attacks on posts do not violate any rule of this site and in general do not even violate any well accepted etiquette of online forums.

I just used it once and hell breaks loose. Please check the sarcastic use of the word "secular" on multiple threads/posts which in fact have nothing to remotely do with politics. A lot of time it has been ignored - only a couple of times it has been given back. Also, fekularism was apt for the context because the video was essentially fekufying the fact that Bacchan endorsed Modi.

They use the excuse of development to support his fundamentalism, to maintain the educated image.

Walking out is something you do at your own terms. Modi was left with no choice.

Walking out is something you do at your own terms. Modi was left with no choice. He sounded like he couldn't articulate well in English, was lost looking for words. He's very fiery otherwise in Hindi interviews. From what I saw in India for a month, Modi seemed like a viable PM candidate and I saw his Hyd speech live (on tv). No matter what Cong/Secularist/BJP moderates are saying about Modi's polarising image, his influence is increasing and he is projecting himself as a PM candidate. BJP moderates are also warming up as there is no other leader in BJP who can mobilise the party as much as Modi now. Have watched a lot on youtube mainly from his supporters / critics. For secularists, even Vajpayee was communal and divisive, so there is no debate on Modi being the same. I think post-Godhra, he has worked hard on erasing it with good governance/admin. Right now, anybody seems to be better than Cong/Rahul.
