Sachin=GOD Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 The Surrogate Interview More at http://www.mediacrooks.com/2014/02/the-surrogate-interview.html#.UxQ5rX8gGK0 probably the worst piece of gossip (I wouldn't demean journalism by calling this "news") I have read in a long time. It was Modi who chickened out and refused to attend (probably for fear of getting uncomfortable questions like ones on Gujarat Riots or about how for the last 8-10 months he has been continuously attacking every single policy/decision of the UPA without providing any details whatsoever about how, if given a chance, he would change these policies for the better) but here we see that everyone except Modi is being criticized simply on the basis of conjectures. Here are a few examples of how "fact based" this "news story" is: Who initiated this event is not clear to the public but based on evidence we have to assume since this is a social media event it is a Facebook event. But chances also are that the event was “concocted” in association by one or more of the partners or their PR brokers. - they have no idea who actually is behind this event. I don’t think the subscriptions route worked all that well. So it is likely that NL didn’t have a sustainable revenue model. I estimate the ownership pattern of NL itself might have changed. - again, they have no idea whether NL's subscription model worked or not or whether the ownership pattern of NL is the same or not. One of the other two partners probably created the event and one of them got FB to sell it. And is it all for free? No sponsors? I sincerely doubt it. - again, they have no idea as to who created this event. And the best part is that till the time Modi was attending the event, these guys either didn't notice a few things or were not bothered by them. They didn't notice/weren't bothered by the fact that the earlier tagline was "top Prime Ministerial Candidates" instead of "top contenders". Even when the title was changed to "top contenders" they didn't seem to notice/weren't bothered by the fact that it didn't mention top contenders for which post. They also didn't seem to notice/weren't bothered by the fact that comments on the Facebook page were disabled after 90 odd comments had been posted. It seems that these things started to bother the people at media crooks only after Modi cancelled. And then to top it all they go about demeaning all other leaders who had received an invitation, had accepted it and then had not chickened out like Modi : who would really want to listen to Lalu or Akhilesh? I don’t know, maybe an “organised” mob. What about Kejriwal? What exactly would be special about AK in another event? He is on TV almost 24X7 there is nothing that anyone can learn anew from his tape-recorded “Ambani is corrupt, Modi is corrupt and you are corrupt” dialogues. MamataB? Maybe a few but she is no way a major attraction beyond Bengal. One more thing - Modi cancelling an event because one of the partners (i.e. NDTV) is corrupt is like BCCI (one of THE most corrupt/crooked sports bodies in the world) cancelling a tour because the opposition country's cricket board is corrupt.

It is no secret Modi does not deal with corrupt and pro-Congi media group, NDTV. And this event was labelled as a Facebook event free to air. Only latter it was known NDTV was exclusive sponsor, and also had exclusive telecast rights. Poor NDTV and NL were left with a convict, a liar, a goonda, and some nobodies for their debate. Hardly a PM top condenter line-up. Either way Modi trolled NDTV or took the right decision not to take part in this fixed debate.

Pls try again that analogy doesn't even make sense. :giggle:

RedFever Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Modi wave- BJP tells Raj Thackeray: don't contest Lok Sabha polls' date=' it will harm us[/quote'] Masterstoke by BJP.. If Raj agress to this, congress-NCP is going to be wiped out atleast in the Mumbai/Thane/Nashik region.
gaurav92 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Masterstoke by BJP.. If Raj agress to this' date=' congress-NCP is going to be wiped out atleast in the Mumbai/Thane/Nashik region.[/quote'] Absolutely.
dial_100 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Masterstoke by BJP.. If Raj agress to this' date=' congress-NCP is going to be wiped out atleast in the Mumbai/Thane/Nashik region.[/quote'] I hope it materializes. Its high time.
The Outsider Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 ^ LOL! Are you guys really that naive? The only way MNS will concede space to BJP in the Lok Sabha elections is by SS accepting a quid pro quo at the assembly level. You think SS will gift seats to MNS in the Maharashtra assembly?
dial_100 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 ^ Naive ... hmmm.. alright I guess respecting others is not your forte. Knowing you, I will leave it aside. There is always a next birth. Back to the topic, yes why not. Its possible. Politics is a game of possibilities. Its not that SS will concede those seats but BJP will. Read my post again. I said I hope. Even the post I replied to said, If that materializes. Its a possibility however naive that sounds.
The Outsider Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 ^ Regional parties only have a limited interest in national politics. They care much more about forming a government in their local state rather than getting a cabinet berth or two. I would be really really surprised if such a scenario unfolds, and if it does go ahead and call be naive, I won't mind a bit and nor will I talk about punarjanums Karan Arjun isshtlye.
