How was our trundling?? and why Shami Ahmed is not in the team
Unadakt looked good but a tad expensive, but pitch is pretty good for quicks. Vinay did well too. Re: Shami :dontknow:, i asked the same, some think Shami isn't suited for one days. I think he should have played.

Good Job by our trundlers .. I say they bowled better than Kiwi Quicks like Wagner and boult. Good to see VK, Unadkat and Mandeep do well. Hopefull Ojha, Menaria and Chand will do better in upcoming games. Also Mukund is not suitable for ODIs I guess.

LINK India A cruise to victory over NZ A RICHARD KNOWLER IN LINCOLN 19/09/2012 7702929.jpg New Zealand A's Derek de Boorder in action. The India A cricket team shrugged off the controversy of the dodgy pitch at Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln to beat New Zealand by three wickets today. Both sides were left frustrated by the decision to abandon their opening List A tour match after just eight overs yesterday because of the unpredictable and dangerous deck. Today's fixture was shifted to a new, and reliable, block. It was certainly enjoyed by India A, as they chased New Zealand A's total of 176 runs from 48.2 overs - running it down in 47.2 overs in fading light. Unmukt Chand and Abhinav Mukund rattled up 52 runs in their opening partnership before the latter was dismissed in the 15th over, when caught by Tom Latham, off the bowling of seamer Mitchell McClenaghan. The New Zealanders began badly - they were 54 for six by the 16th over - but the cavalry came in the form of Andrew Ellis and Derek de Boorder who added a vital partnership of 80. That ended when Ellis was run out for 45 as he scrambled for a single in the 40th over. De Boorder celebrated his 50 in the 44th over, but was eventually dismissed for 62 as the New Zealanders' ninth wicket was claimed. McClenaghan was the best of the New Zealand bowlers, snaring three wickets for 42 runs off 10 overs. The two sides will meet again at the same venue on Friday. Scorecard

I've said earlier that Rahul Sharma can bat,he batted well & came ahead of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar:two_thumbs_up:.There is no damn reason why Chawla should be in the test team ahead of him. He's far better bowler than Chawla atleast.

Pitch looked tough to bat on.. Unmukt, Mandeep, Rayudu, Rahul Sharma :congrats:

So why play him in the List A games here' date=' when we already have given chance to him in ODIs in foreign conditions too?[/quote'] Didn't fancy reading the non-bolded sentence?

This is beyond nonsense! Rahul averages 44.50 in First Class cricket with the ball, what is the excuse for that?
