Typical desi type response...so it means in India for aspiring models/actors is to sleep with some fugly producers to attain success...I wouldn't say that if I'm not certain and I have no proof...may be it's the aam janta mentality...lol
So serious. I was just joking yaar. Chill. Deleted the comment on your objection.

Prince was an epic flop in big cities and a hit in the villages AFAIK.
Villages me cinemas nahi hote bhai saab. There are lot of films which do better at single screens than plexes. Prince was one.

Having started her career in Punjabi cinema back in Harbhajan Maan's Asa Nu Maan Watna Da in 2004...just about the time Punjabi Cinema was resurrecting itself, she's become the most recognized face of Punjabi movies as far as actresses go. Infact, all the other actresses have done only one or couple of movies, hence she has the advantage... New faces like Surveen Chawla showed glimpses of potential in Dharti.. Mandy Takhar in Mirza was ok (flattered to deceive)...whereas the likes of Kulraj Randha went on to try their luck in Bollywood after one movie. Neeru done more movies than any other leading actress... Asa Nu Maan Watna Da (2004).... Dil Apna Punjabi (2006) Munde U.K. De (2009) ... Reet Brar Heer Ranjha (2009) ... Heer Mel Karade Rabba (2010) ... Seerat Randhawa Jihne Mera Dil Luteya (2011)... Noor Bajwa Pata Nahi Rabb Kehdeyan Rangan Ch Raazi (2012) Jatt & Juliet (2012)... Juliet Pinky Moge Wali (2012)... Pinky Jatt Romantic (2012) A lot of the actors are basically singers who've transitioned into making movies after the so called loss in music due to piracy. Overall, Punjabi Cinema is still at its infancy after the revival in the early 2000's by Habhajan Maan and Manmohan Singh...some may argue that Gurdas Maan's Shaheed e Mohabbat was the starting point.. Nevertheless, there's lots of areas to improve i.e acting, storylines. The majority of directors are playing it safe and churning out youth oriented romantic comedies which have done good business... On the other spectrum, there are movies like Anne Ghode Da Daan which won 3 national movie awards recently.

Reviews have been quite good from everybody who has seen the movie..keeping in mind the genre i.e rom/comedy. A good time out with the family me thinks. Money wise, it also did quite well in the opening weekend both in India as well as the international market i.e UK, Australia,Canada, etc

It has given tough competition not just to Bollywood films but also to a major Hollywood film that released in the state of Punjab.
