Ashwin really phucked up as we could have at least managed to reach a reasonable total. Ashwin's fetish for getting run-out in weird manner is really beginning to annoy me. I dont think even extra 30-40 runs thru farming would change the result. Gambu fanz maybe hoping by this way someone could make big score, but its just a selfish part. More importantly our batmen aint in habbit of chasing unknown prestige saving target, OP mumbling the situation, its already lost. It maybe common for bowlers & as a batsman no Indian wanted to be there for farming coz such situations never should 've happened. Indian ODI batting lineup never cracks is question of pride, not a joke.

Sehwag Gambhir Kohli Rahane Raina Dhoni Pathan Ashwin Zak Dinda Yadav/Rahul Sharma Rahane at number 4 because someone other than Rohit deserves a chance and i don't think Tiwary is all that so would go for Rahane. Rahane is probably too low down but i would not shift Kohli down the order because he is the best batsman in ODI's atm along with De VIlliers. Dinda is a promising limited overs bowler and deserves a chance. Would choose Yadav or Rahul Sharma for last bowling spot. Would drop Ojha as the Lankans are good against spin and have 4 left handed batsmen (decent left handers anyway)

Everyone knows we gifted this one to Lanka so that the Lankan people stay glued to their TVs for the rest of the series and come out in huge numbers for the remainder of the ODIs. Why should Gautam stick on till the end and prolong the match? When he has the chance to finish the game in 4 hours, why drag it on for 6-7 hours? Team India prefer spending their time trying out the various culinary delights of Sri Lanka and making most of their time there, than fighting for a lost cause.
